A few weeks ago, my clock began malfunctioning, and I searched the Internet for a repairer on Long Island. My search revealed a few choices but fewer than in 2014. Some of the current listings do not offer services for antique clocks or lack sufficient experience, and in one listing, the company outsources work to repairers in adjoining states. The Time Shop in East Islip is a notable exception among the few companies in my search results. Two brothers, Randy and John Taus are the shop's clock repairers who provide excellent service.
