Kim's barber shop — Local services in Town of Le Ray

First time I went to this place it was a good cut with a pleasant message afterwards, I would give it 5 stars off of the first experience. The second time was unpleasant, I believe I got a different person who was very rough compared to the first. While she did an acceptable haircut, she used too much pressure on the razor and was going too quickly causing the nerves on the back of my head to burn. Then she kept hitting my ears with the comb as she trimmed the sides and pulled my hair while trimming the top with the comb and razor. She then gave a very unpleasant neck and back message that was immensely uncomfortable both during and after. All of these issues were caused by going way too fast which was completely unjustified considering no one was waiting and it wasn’t busy. I likely won’t be returning unless there’s...

This place is actually really good. I only pay $10 for my haircut and I couldn't be happier. These people are very quick and skilled in what they do. It all starts with an amazing haircut. After the haircut they wrap a steamed towel over you. MAKE SURE YOU CLOSE YOUR EYES AFTER THEY DO THIS.

Then they grab all the left over hair off your head with towel and then give you nice enjoyable neck massage just for $10. While I was not expecting this it was definatly am experience better than any other barber shop in my last 3 duty stations.

I know I marked it down a star and that is because they don't speak the best english so it is hard to communicate with them, but other than that I couldn't...

Update after getting my haircut here for about 2 months something that ALWAYS happens with ANY barber right off post is a medium skin turns into a high skin fade. This happens 9/10 times on any barbershop and it shouldnt but hey its the truth.. With that said, my only critique is that 2 (not all) barbers here tend to be rough around the neck, I've left with abrasions/cuts around my neck. This is due to them just trying to hurry and bust out a haircut or force of habit. Other than that you'll get as good of haircut as the other places around post. Overall my review is 4 stars, cause you're not going to be in a chair 30mins and they DO have a sense of pride...
