ALDI — Local services in Town of Lyons

Not only does Aldi have wonderful prices, happy workers, clean stores, and great food to purchase, but wonderful people shop there. Thursday night at 6 pm after going to Dentist with a major tooth ache and waiting until pharmacy gets my prescription, really hoping to avoid a root canal.....as I packed up my bags a very cheerful lady passed me with flowers and said, " I don't know if you are a mom but Happy Mother's Day and I want to give you these flowers." Wow, what a lift !!! And did I mention the cart was not hooked, so I go a free cart to use and gave a free cart to the next person !!!! This Aldi... I like it, but don't love it. They run out of the stuff i need like they're doing it on purpose, lol. Even though I know that's not at all the case... like green beans? Good luck. Canola oil? Vegetable oil? Always out.

My old Aldi set the bar high, so I know what this one is missing. One other thing... they don't mark sales down enough. They had all kinds of Christmas stuff that wasn't marked down more than 50%, even weeks later.

They rearranged the store, after a remodel, I was told. Start at the BACK of the store to get the heavy stuff to the bottom...

I like that it's close by but they don't have a lot of products I buy from places like Wegmans and sauders but they have most of the basics. Even t.p paper, kitchen supplies, cool ware, hanging flower baskets, even flowers, yep oh they have a bathroom too, so ya know. I'm just saying.
