Zipp Hardware — Local services in Town of Manheim

I've been relying on this store since 1998. You can count on one hand the number of times they didn't have what I needed. Their service is excellent, and their knowledge of everything (plumbing, electrical, construction, small engine repair/maintenance/troubleshooting) is amazing. Unlike the big box stores, where you'll find someone to advise you whether they know what they're talking about or not, everyone who works at Zipps can be trusted to give you solid advice and solutions...emphasis on "everyone". And they are the masters at fixing lawn mowers, snowblowers, leaf vacs, etc. Not only are they good at it, their prices for such services are better than "reasonable". This hardware store is a great resource for the village of Dolgeville and the surrounding communities. They have hard to find items - needed for repairs to older homes and buildings, and their prices are - in almost every case- better then the prices at big box stores.

They are open a few hours Sunday mornings which make it convenient because there is no need to waste gas driving to a big box store. This place is bigger then you’d expect from the outside. They have a great selection of electrical and plumbing parts, including “Sharkbites” which are great for repairs.

I always stop here first before going to a big box store, I’ve shopped here for 30 years and never had a bad experience. Please keep up...

Though I am related to one of the two owners, the service is excellent and they fix a lot of items for customers (snow blowers, lawn mowers, weed eaters, etc) and have a great selection for a small store. Try them out and see how good or bad their services...
