Robinson's Repair Shop — Local services in Town of Marathon

I cannot speak highly enough of this shop. My wife and I had our car towed to Robinson's after an accident. We are from out of town and really had no other choice. But it turned out to be such an enormous blessing. This shop is like a throw-back to the old-days, when customers are treated with courtesy, professionalism, integrity, and a smile. Mike recognized that my family was in a tight spot -- hours away from home with a baby and two dogs -- and he did what he could to put us at ease and then get to working on our car as soon as possible. He treated us so fairly. I really just can't speak highly enough of his professionalism and skill. He clearly explained to me the damage to my vehicle and what would need to be done. And, as I sat in the shop, I saw the same professionalism with every customer that came through the door. Mind you, this was all on a snowy Saturday morning, when he could have taken it easy and told us that he really couldn't do anything for us on the weekend. He rather treated all of us -- not just my family -- with the utmost courtesy, clearly explaining to each and every customer just what it was that he was working on, what he was doing with their vehicle, and when he might be finished.

Again, I can only describe this place by likening it to a kind of old-time shop, the kind of shop that you trust unfailingly to do right by you and your family. I encourage one and all to bring your vehicles to this shop. You'll be delighted to learn that places like this...

I decided to use Robinson's two two members of my family had really good experiences. In addition the business is locally owned and if we want to see our communities prosper we need to support our local businesses.

I needed an inspection and I suspected a lot of work would have to be done on my truck before it would pass. On a trip from Syracuse to Virginia, my brakes went out due to a burst break line. This happened to be the first place I came to. I told the desk clerk my problem and she immediately got someone to come take a look who right up front told me what to expect in terms of time and $. Their bays were already full, and they didn't have the part I needed, but they sent someone to the next town to get the part, and managed to get me done and back on the road in less than 1 hr. and at a very reasonable price.
