Frank's Gun Shop Inc — Local services in Town of Mayfield

Good people,very good store, wide selection. The only thing I can say is not the best is trade-in/selling I traded in a couple guns a while back one of them retailed for about 520 Ish and another one retail for almost 400 and I was trying to get a New gun that had a retail value of about $300. I don’t remember the exact number, but I was only able to get about 150 maybe $165 worth for the two guns I had. I understand that business is business and there has to be a profit, but I went back in the other day after I traded them in and paid money on top for the other gun that was worth less than one of the guns I traded in But ended up trading both of them in. But I went in to the used section about a day or two later and saw both the guns that I traded in with money on top for a gun that was sub $300 and they were selling them for about 10% off each from their retail value so obviously hurt to see. The only thing I would change is slightly better Appraising or trading especially If somebody’s offering two or more guns worth more each than the one gun they’re trying to get. personally I think that would be a no-brainer. Otherwise, very good store highly recommend I’ll definitely stand by them and there Retail pricing for brand new guns, equipment, etc but again that trade-in/appraisal value has to be revamped at least...

I went in to Frank's Gun Shop for the first time in April of this year. I live far from Franks out on Long Island, but my only regret is that I hadn't visited the store sooner! The BEST gun shop I've ever been to, and each time I go in, I have an even more positive experience than the last. My father + family have been to Frank's many times over the years and they all love it too! TONS of pistol and rifle inventory & accessories...and ALL of the employees are awesome, EXTREMELY helpful, answer any/all questions you might have and never rush you. They even remembered to call me and let me know that the holster I had wanted (wasn't in stock last time I was in) had come in and they'd put one aside for me until I pick up! It's unheard of to have this kind of customer service at a gun shop, at least from my experience. BEST...

A good friend of mine recommended Frank's Gun Shop to me. I have yet to visit this establishment but had the privilege of speaking to the owner (Frank) last week. I recently purchased a handgun at a gun show in Pennsylvania and was looking for a NYS FFL dealer to transfer the gun. Frank told me that it would not be a problem and to have the Pennsylvania FFL dealer contact him. Frank treated me like family. Last weekend my son & his friend went Upstate and I told them to visit Frank's Gun Shop. They went there and were totally blown away from all the ammo selections, rifles/shotguns and the great customer service. They made a few purchases because of the enormous selections and great prices. I can't wait to go there myself when the handgun...
