Wampum Shop — Local services in Town of Mercer

Neat place to look around. I did not buy anything here. I thought they were pretty pricey. Even the clearance sweatshirts were not clearance enough for me to buy one. Also beware, be careful outside their store. It had snowed, and no one like to shovel apparently around here. I tried to step over the bank of snow the plow had left at the corner ( where there is supposed to be a ramp of sorts for wheelchairs). I slipped and fell into the snow bank. There where at least 5 persons in the store near the door. Not one person came to see if I needed help, or if I got hurt. I brushed myself off and went inside. Not a word from anyone, though they were all looking at me snow covered. I had to walk a half a block from the store to find a safe spot to get onto the street and get to my parked car. If you need something fun to remember your trip to Mercer go see the Wampum! They have the best buyer! Hand picked lively gifts and memorabilia. Cool tshirts for all ages. Snuggly hoodies for those chilly nights. Candy and toys for the kids. Footwear for everyone and my very favorite! Minnetonka moccasins! The staff is great! But just REMEMBER! there are lots of things to look at and touch if you have littles this isn't a babysitter. I love the staff. This is such a unique and fun store with something for everyone. They carry a little bit of everything from games fur kids to coffee mugs with funny adult themes. The owner is terrific and went out of her way to make sure our experience was great. My wife and I spent the better half of an hour just browsing their goods before settling on a sweatshirt for her and a few gag items for myself. If you're ever in Mercer.... this has to be a stop...
