The Pines Restaurant and Beer Garden — Restaurant in Town of Mercer

I went it rang bell liked it said no one came. Went to bar to ask for service. They sent someone out. I ordered 2 kid size cones, only ice cream prices shown says 2.50 small 3.50 large. But then they tell 7$ one cone has one scoop above the cake part and the other was cone is flat.... the girl goes get someone when I asked why so much. Then the 2 girls They make the smaller one 2x the size of the one I have in my hand... then I say can I just pay and be done with this... she at this point has had my money since she said $7... she walks away again to get someone else. To which I get told we don't sell kids size we sell ice cream 3.50 small which is says no where and why she couldn't just let me pay and be done with the most painful ice cream purchase known to man. But instead gets a rude girl who says she doesn't understand... then why did you send her to mane ice creams... will never try this place again, thank...

The atmosphere was excellent. The outdoor tiki bar and entertainment was all you could ask for after a wonderful day. My problem was the outdoor service. I ordered. I was told dinner would be 20 minutes. No problem...sit back and enjoy the entertainment. After 40 minutes there was smoke coming from the grill area. I was paged and told there was a grease fire and my meal would be ready in 20 minutes. No problem. Meal was done in 50 minutes and was terrible. I told Irv, the chef, the burgers were burnt to a crisp and I could /would not eat them. The burgers were also smaller than a cheeseburger at McDonald's. I was told that he always cooked the burgers well done. So if you want a small well done burger this is the place for you. My recommendation is sit back enjoy the atmosphere but do not let Irv...

Neat place located in the heart of town right off of 51. We were fortunate to find a table for our group in a covered area of the outdoor bar area. Ot had been raining off and on so we were glad to do so. The tiki bar located close to our area served numerous drinks designed to appeal to all palettes and were delicious. The bartender was both friendly and knowledgeable about the drinks she was serving and was able to take care of our order quickly. We decided to order pizza from the attached kitchen and were all surprised on just how delicious it was. Freshly made crust topped with fresh meats and vegetables made it such a pleasure to eat. We loved this place and were thankful our close friends had suggested that we stop by. We will definitely return again once we have...
