Stopped in on Sunday after riding the trail on a side by side and I saw the sign that he had Italian beef sandwiches this place is almost as good as Chicago and I will give it as being the best beef in the North Woods award order your sandwich dipped with hot giadiniera put directly on the sandwich don't worry John the proprietor of this business and cook makes your sandwich with care in his clean kitchen one of the cleanest kitchens I've seen in the North Woods this place really knows how to do it right Vienna hot dogs and Italian beef two of my favorite Chicago Staples done right I'm looking forward to coming by on my snowmobile this winter and bringing all my friends to enjoy a delicious beef sandwich with hot peppers on the trail also his sausage is imported directly from Chicago so if you have a classic combo beef make sure you indulge in that and also put lots of hot gardenare on it I'm amazed that people turn their nose up at this beautiful clean bar and go right on across the street and have their microwave...

Small, but quaint, little bar nestled in the heart of downtown Mercer. We stopped in to get a stamp for the Pumpkin run and decided to stay for a drink and to share an appetizer. My captain and diet was poured quickly and priced similarly to other bars in the area. The owner was working behind the bar and was both friendly and attentive given the number of people squeezed into this smaller sized bar. The bar itself is decorated nicely and adorned with wood siding on the interior, which gives it a real, homey like feeling. We couldn't stay long, but all agreed to return when the opportunity presented...

Last week, I brought 17 hungry golfers to The Bar for the first time. The food was excellent and the service even better. We had a great time and ended our stay with the "coldest shots in town."
