Besides the poor store layout and mild selection, the employees are rude and disrespectful. Both times I have come to donate items I have been treated like I’m burdening them. Most recently I showed up at closing time while they were still shutting the store down, and I was met with horrible attitudes. I had rushed there to drop off 3 large boxes of items before they left, (clothing, small appliances and kitchenware). One lady (very annoyed) told me to place them just inside the door. When I did that, the other lady yelled at me, snapping in my face, she said “NO NO NO, put them in the back,” pointing at the back area. I told her I had been instructed to place them just inside the door, when she said, “if you can’t put them in the back don’t even bother bringing them in.” I told her I had 2 more boxes but I could just throw the items away to which she responded, “why don’t you do that.” So I took my boxes to a nearby dumpster and left. It was just extremely disappointing to be treated with disdain while I’m trying to give them items they can make money on.
