Had to travel an hour to bowl here. It was my first time here. My husband tried out the lanes last year. Based on two different visits, I can say these lanes are kept up nice. The perfect amount of oil, updated machines and just a cute bowling alley. I bowled for decades traveling around to different towns for leagues. Based on MY past exposure to other lanes: This is a smaller size house. It has less than 12 lanes. It has a snack shop, it has clean bathrooms, and the pro shop may be small but it has a selection of balls and shoes. The staff (two may have been the owners) were absolutely nice people. They joke around with you, help you when you ask , keep the place clean and maintain really great lanes. What else do you want in a bowling alley. Brought my son here for a birthday party and this was my first time visiting this local business after 6 years of living here. It was a good experience and for a small village it fits well. The inside was clean and well maintained, and the staff were pleasant and professional. The food was decent for what it was, pizza, hot dogs, your typical bowling / bar food. For the location, size and what it is, over all was a very positive experience here. The proprietors of this bowling area are just amazing. They keep the machines running smoothly and flawlessly. Scoring machines and monitors are top of the line, easy to use, easy to see. Food here is to die for, it doesn't matter what you order ... (fresh handcut fries....a breakfast sandwich....anything on the menu) everything is great, and a lot of the food comes from local growers too.
