Tsechen Kunchab Ling - Temple of All-Encompassing Great Compassion — Local services in Town of Montgomery

This beautiful, resplendent temple and grounds are the seat of His Holiness the Sakya Trizin in the United States. For the last thirty-five years I have practiced with Gelupa masters. Their teachings have been genuine and true. A few years ago, however, I received teachings from HH Sakya Trizin himself, and learned that the Sakya teachings are the original source of the Gelupa teachings. Over the last nearly three years I have been so blessed to have received very important teachings from HH Sakya Trizin. I had one private interview with him toward the end of the first set of vajrayana teachings that I received from him. His kindness and deep understanding of my situation without having to be told anything by me was completely overwhelming.

My strong feeling is that no matter what lineage one has studied under, one cannot fail to receive a rare and beautiful transmission by studying the Sakya teachings, and if one is especially fortunate, to receive them directly from HIs Holiness.
