Frostee Freeze — Restaurant in Town of Montgomery

The ice cream here is average. They disrespected a veteran and they treat customers poorly. I won’t be back.

My girlfriend, our dog and I arrived here this evening about 8:03 pm. We sat online for 10 minutes while some middle aged man in front of us FaceTimed his whole family at the stand for what they wanted. (Clearly he wasn’t in a rush and we didn’t mind) Another much older gentleman got online behind us and was playing with our dog while we waited.

About 8:13 pm, 10 minutes later the nasty Spanish woman in her 50s or so who I believe is the owner comes out and declares we’re closed to the older gentleman and I after we had been waiting 10 minutes or more online clearly behind the guy FaceTiming his whole family. The staff saw us this entire time waiting and said nothing.

When this older man who was a veteran behind us got upset and argued “you should serve the people who have been waiting online”, the nasty owner lady shouted it’s only ice cream thank you for your service sir it’s only ice cream you’ll be alright. To me that was taking a slight at this mans mental health as if he as a veteran was not mentally fit. I won’t go back because not only was this man absolutely right to be upset (he did lose his temper and probably was over the top) but this lady who owns the joint disrespected a veteran in front of us. I was speechless. Usually I’d say something but couldn’t believe what I just witnessed and left. Won’t be back. The ice cream is average at best and there’s an apparent lack of common sense going on as it pertains to customer service and normal business practices for a food establishment.

Go elsewhere for your ice cream...

This place has terrible customer service! They served us chili nachos that tasted disgusting, only took 1 bite of a chip and then returned it. To be quite honest it tasted like extremely old fryer oil. We asked to exchange for chicken tenders, which were actually cheaper than the nachos and they would not exchange! We didn’t even ask for a refund we just wanted something that tasted good. Place is a disgrace. Female working there on 07/25/22 at 735pm is terrible. She then claimed that she took a bite of our nachos that we had returned and stated that they tasted fine and that we were wrong for saying they were gross. Very disappointed in them so far this season….they closed at the exact time they were supposed to (8:30pm) which I totally understand the need to close when you’re supposed to but there was a line of about 15 people with no prior warning of closing, no cutting off the line, no courtesy shout saying they’re closing in 10 minutes. We had waited for 20 minutes and if they don’t need our business then we’ll just take it elsewhere. Anyone who works in food understands you probably won’t be closing at the exact time you’re supposed to but these young kids are entitled to close and lose a ton of business. Not sure what’s going on there but if we want ice cream again we’ll go to a different business that cares about their customers no matter...
