Hannaford — Local services in Town of Moreau

Recently stopped in to check out the store quite a large selection to seafood my favorite. During checkout I watch staff harassing a elderly customer who gave him a hundred-dollar bill and they told him he shouldn't be shopping on a Sunday morning with a hundred-dollar bill we don't have change. I offered to give him my ATM card so he can pay for his purchase, cashier said she had to take the hundred because she already entered it into the register and you can't change the transaction told her to void it and rearing it up and we'll pay for my card no some guy came over threaten the man to punch his teeth out and get out of the store he said he wanted his hundred dollars or is groceries the man who scored him to the front door he did get his money but I won't return to that store I can't believe the way they treated that customer because they didn't have change oh yeah I'm sending my register receipt into a complaint to corporate no one should have been...

A service leader this morning at the South Glens Falls Hannaford ran outside to give my children and I a long winded, unprompted and condescending lecture about how we could only return $12 worth of bottles and cans (we know, there's a sign), all lids need to be removed (no sign) and we can't put anything dirty in. She then looked at our clean water bottles with disgust. They have also been extremely rude on visits where I've attempted to use WIC benefits, something probably most people with young children, the employees there included, qualify for in this area. Their manager needs to be re-educated on basic human courtesy or simply fired if they lack the talent to train basic human...

1st I called this store at 6:25 and Tyler answered the phone. Extremely pleasant and gave me the answer I needed. Excellent customer service! I go to this store at 7:30am to the deli and I can say, “I wasn’t impressed”. Kid who waited on me never changed gloves, kept touching his collar/shirt with said gloves and put my pepperoni in pieces/sheds in a pile and would push it down. I think his name was Paul! I had a pile of “meat” I couldn’t separate. If I wasn’t in a hurry to get my bread made, I would have brought it back. It went in garbage, my bread now doesn’t have pepperoni in it.
