Our experience with Over the Falls Tours was fantastic! Dana was our guide and she was amazing! She picked us up promptly in the shuttle bus and we crossed the border without incident. She kept us informed at all times and was just so pleasant and friendly. Dana is an excellent tour guide and we would highly recommend going with Over the Falls Tours for your sightseeing in Niagara Falls! Pickup at hotel at 8am. Very nice shuttle bus. Texts were sent to notify us and keep us up to date and informed of the pickups, thank you! Crossed the border w/o any problems. Dana told us exactly what to do and what to expect, thank you! Arrived at Maid of the Mist for the 9am excursion. Didn't get totally wet but definitely misty and very windy, just as Dana informed us, thank you! Went to Cave of the Winds and braved the infamous Hurricane Deck! What an epic experience! Dana informed us in detail how if you did not want to go all the way up the deck you did not have to go, thank you, but we were glad we did it was sooo cool! Hint: wear two ponchos! Dana was very specific about break times and meeting back at the bus, thank you, which allowed us time to walk around and also go to the gift shop. Stopped for lunch at The Hungry Moose at Maple Plaza. Had plenty of time to get our own lunch and walk around. Whenever we got back on the bus, Dana always made sure everyone was accounted for and we were ready to move on, thank you! Went to view the whirlpool rapids where the Aero Car operates. What a lovely advantage point, thank you! Last stop, the Skylon Tour. Wow, what a tremendous view! Dana told us exactly where to go and what to expect when going up the elevator, thank you! Headed back to where we were staying. Dana told us exactly who was to be dropped off in what order, thank you, and we got back to our hotel around 4pm. The whole day was a wonderful experience and I cannot thank Dana enough for making it our best day there! Again, I would highly recommend touring with Over the Falls for an all around great and easy way to see...
Read moreWhen I found myself with a week off of work and nothing to do due to cancelled plans, I decided to have myself a little adventure. I went to Niagara for the first time in 16 years and booked a tour with Over The Falls. After seeing lots of ads on Facebook for a few weeks, I decided to look at their prices and options.
I was shocked that it was only $190 for a 7-hour, all-inclusive tour of both sides of the falls. Despite having been there 16 years prior, only one of the stops we made was something I had done before. We had 21 people in our group, and our tour guide, Eduardo, made the day a ton of fun.
We went to the American side first, and did Maid of the Mist, the Observation Deck, Goat Island, and Cave of the Winds. We came back to the Canada side for lunch at a food court/gift shop (that bottles their own maple syrup and makes their own fudge), went to The Whirlpool, The Niagara Floral Clock, Skylon Tower and Table Rock (right on the edge of the Horseshoe Falls).
For me, even having been there before, the most amazing part was being able to get so up close, to the point of being able to reach out and touch the falls (or if you were daring enough, be IN the falls themselves)! It was the perfect tour for someone traveling alone because you can make friends with the other people in your group. Eduardo was super knowledgeable, super friendly, and filled the day with cool facts, good laughs, and so much history! He ran the day with knowledge of good timing for each stop, and even told us when we had a few minutes before our next stop to get a little nap in!
I would definitely recommend this for anyone traveling to Niagara - whether it's your first time or not - whether you are travelling alone or with a group. It's a sure...
Read moreThis exceptional tour, conducted by Over the Falls Tours, was way more than expected when booked. It was a full day's value for the cost and covered everything you would hope on both the American and Canadian sides of the Falls, including the actual horseshoe and bridal veil falls, the boat ride up close, but also the related and connected history and sites on both sides of the border. Our tour guide "Dayna" was fabulous! She is witty, entertaining and informative in one package but she covered a lot of ground treating all of us like family. The Skylon Tower was included in the tour but Dayna separately also took us to a really neat lunch stop. She provided tons of recommendations and suggestions throughout the day that would be very useful for expanding your visit. She was adept at working us around any crowds, long lines and obstructions, which the savvy tourist will greatly appreciate. That means you can get much more out of the tour. She was efficient but never hurried us. You will not miss a thing on this comprehensive tour package and you'll be really grateful later if Dayna was your guide. BTW, Viator was very easy to book through. They stay in communication with you throughout. There are no surprises and no mysteries. This was a huge value for the cost. It's easy to highly recommend this tour package for its content, the operator for its delivery and the tour guide for her informative and entertaining...
