He is very meticulous and easy to work with I would recommend him over apple for those who do not have apple care. Also to anyone who wants something done perfect. He fixed my rose gold MacBook Pro which had a cracked screen. He ordered and replaced the screen assembly including back side where a the symbol is. Thanks again happy to have it back working great. His quote was more affordable than apple but more than that I trust him more than some tech who just started working at apple or only has a few yrs in.

went for a fan repair and cleaning and whole process felt rushed , he successfully did replace the fan which i’m thankful for but put the casing back on without fully cleaning , i even offered to do it myself before it put it on , but he grabbed a pick and just brushed over it a couple times and put it back on and rushed me out . would’ve happily paid more for a 100% complete job or went somewhere else if i knew it would’ve been rushed

This business is just exceptional. When I first called Mike [owner] he set an appointment and when we met he agreed to replace my hard drive and reload Windows 10 THE SAME DAY!!! He took the time to explain the issues and how he intended to fix it. His prices are beyond reasonable compared to his competitors and he phoned me same day to pick it up. He explained to me why I should upgrade to a solid state drive stating it would make my computer faster and boy was he ever correct. Mike is terrific to work with and very competent. As he said "Hey I do this every day". If you need computer service look no further you will not find a more honest and competent business. [Oh and I should say he is very conveniently located right off Balltown Road in Niskayuna . I HIGHLY RECOMMEND...

I can not express how much I would recommend this business for your computer needs. I have to admit that when I broke my Macbook screen I took it to another place first and was completely unsatisfied. It took them four days to come back to me with a quote and it was nearly 800 dollars. I then took it to ComputeRx based on reviews and the fact it was close by. Very friendly people and, I feel bad that I can't remember his man, but the man I worked with gave me a quote within 5 minutes of being there. And it was HALF what the other guys quoted me. I also gave them a rushed time schedule due to travel and they got it to me 2 days earlier then I even expected! If I have anyone with any computer problems you can bet I will be sending them to ComputeRx. These guys...

Beyond fantastic. I brought in a 2011 MacBook Pro that wouldn’t start to Castle Computer in Latham,, to the owner who had worked on it before. He declared the Mac dead. Not quite ready to give up, I Googled other options and found this one. I brought the dead MacBook Pro here and it turned out the memory Castle had put in it had to be reseated and the MacBook Pro came back to life. I was charged ten dollars. I just had a new Solid State Harddrive added to it for three hundred and sixty bucks and this awesome old computer now runs better then the new pieces of junk being sold now.
