I gave a glowing 5 star review two years ago when we rented a bouncy castle from Fiesta, but needed to amend it after our rental with them last weekend. Two years ago, the rental was perfect. In fact we got a call the following morning when they were supposed to pick up the castle asking if we wanted it for an extra day at no cost. Since we were having my nieces over that day that was much appreciated. That absolutely amazing experience, was reversed with the last experience. (see below)
Since we had such a great experience with them the first time, we decided to rent a bouncy castle/water slide for our daughter's 9th birthday party last Saturday. I asked Wilson when booking if they would leave it an extra day if they didn't have it rented and he said yes. The guys showed up on time to deliver it and I asked them about an extra day and they advised me to call the office, which I did. I spoke with a lady, who informed me it was not rented for Sunday and she would speak with Wilson and have him call me. This was around noon. I never heard from Wilson. The schedule pick up time was 9:15 pm Saturday night. Nobody came and nobody reached out to me, so we assumed they would call and pick it up Sunday night or Monday like last time. My daughter was using the slide at around 1:30 on Sunday in anticipation of our family party. All of a sudden 3 guys came down my driveway into my backyard to pick up the bouncy castle/water slide. My daughter as one could imagine started crying and threw a fit. I asked them why nobody called me and they just showed up at an inconvenient time and they had an attitude and just wanted to get the product and leave. As family was waiting to come to our backyard at our house we had to move the cars out of the driveway and then the guys with the truck blocked the driveway. (Not sure why) I reached out to Wilson to advise him about our frustration over the lack of communication and the guys just showing up at my house with no warning. I got no response! I've been in Customer Service/Sales for nearly 30 years. The most important thing is to return calls and communicate with your customers and be transparent. They showed up to to my home with a dirty castle, The delivery guys who were very nice had no masks on during covid, they asked me for an extension cord because they forgot there cord and then they asked me for a hose to wash down the castle in my backyard on the grass prior to a party. Now a professional company would have had it sanitized and vacuumed like the company I was able to get within an hours notice of my party and the drivers would’ve had masks. At this point I was obviously upset because I had my family coming over in about 10 little kids for my daughter’s sixth birthday and I was stuck. I tried numerous times to call Edwin who is the manager and he was not answering the phone even though he was just on the phone with the driver. I was calling, my sister was calling from her cell phone and nothing and when he finally called me back he was screaming at me on the top of his lungs like an animal. I don’t know where he comes from but where I come from the customer is always right and you do what you Have to do to accommodate them. Clearly besides lacking in any common sense or class he has no sense of what it’s like to run a business. Trust me do not book them. When calling other places prior to finding the one that I did book they all said the same thing once I mentioned this company’s name they said oh yeah we’ve had calls like this before you’re not the first person. Since the owner wants to reply and not give the full account of what happened, let’s clarify. When filling out the information online it asks what time do we think our party will end. I put 7. It’s a backyard party. They call exactly at 7 stating they are arriving now. The party is not over, children are still using the bounce house. I suggest can they pick it up tomorrow, even if I pay extra- the answer is no they have another party tomorrow.. NO PROBLEM (so let’s not pretend this was this issue sir) I said can you please come at 8 to give my guests time to leave the party.. he says no 30 minutes. I said in 30 min there will still be children bouncing so if you have to come that early you’ll be telling children to get off. He says no we will just call the police and hangs the phone up on me. Then their guys come and start deflating everything because he was angry that I already left this review ^^^^. Again, don’t ever use this company. No other bounce house company had done this to me nor will they do it to you. Just choose someone else. Funtime rentals is a good suggestion!!
