Max and his entire team at Sweet Clover are phenomenal. We interviewed many landscape designers, but once we met Max, the choice to go with him was obvious. He understood exactly what we were going for, asked lots of insightful questions, and just based on his initial observations and suggestions, we knew we would be in the best hands. After we hired him, he came back with Tina to review our property in greater detail, and then followed up (sooner than promised!) with a thorough plan, including large printed and digital blueprints and a slideshow showing the various trees and plants proposed. He went through it with us, was very receptive to our updates, and also helped split the master plan into a multi-year plan to work within our budget.

Once we agreed on the plan, we scheduled time for the planting. During the planting, Max and his team were highly professional; on time, efficient, friendly, and receptive to our questions and comments. Max even brought small plants just for our daughters and taught them how to plant them. After the planting, Max has continued to be very responsive to all of our questions.

We are only at the beginning of implementing our landscape plan, but so far we could not be happier with the results, and cannot recommend Sweet Clover highly enough. Looking forward to continuing to work with them...

I recently had the pleasure of working with Max and the team at Sweet Clover Design for landscaping our property, and I am thoroughly impressed with their work! They skillfully planted beautiful arrangements in front of the house, along the sides, and down the walkway. The selection included lilacs, boxwoods, azaleas, rhododendrons, and hydrangeas, enhancing the charm of our home. The plants are gorgeous.

Additionally, they planted three trees—two Kwanzan Cherry trees and a White Dogwood—that have truly transformed our outdoor space making it bucolic and picturesque. Every detail was handled with care, from the strategic placement of the plants to the meticulous mulching and post-planting cleanup. They even made sure everything was well-watered before leaving.

I first hired Max and Sweet Clover Design in summer 2020 to re-design landscaping around our patio. Now three summers later, we've had his crew out each year to work on another landscaping upgrade in different areas of our property.

He and his team have been terrific in every respect. He has a really good eye for mixing green and color, and for filling a space with just the right number of plantings. I have been so pleased with how Max has listened to what we like, shown us some options, and helped us find cost-efficient ways to re-develop the look of our property. It's been really rewarding each Spring to see how what he did the prior Fall really start to bloom and grow.
