Visited this store, nice,clean butcher staff was great. But I will NOT be going back. Went to check out and was met with the discontent of a cashier that didn't like that I had half a cart full of food items. She called out to another worker and said I need help I have ANOTHER full cart. The look of disgust her face when I said hello, was shocking in the least. I said you should watch how you greet your customers, She said "well ya don't know, it gets tiring with big carts.". I said , " I do know, I did customer service for cell phones for 20 yrs." She stated " oh you couldn't handle it?" "Excuse me?" She was rude and trying to be cute.    Read morethe store is fine, the website and people running the emails have lost it, they seem to think we all want yet another app, and for the month of october no longer let you even view the weekly specials but rather automatically dump you to the play store! pretty sure the playstore does not have their weekly specials posted! but they are trying to force you to get yet another freeking App we don't want even to see the weekly specials in the emails! that was the whole point of joining the email list, NOT to be bombarded with 'Download our app or we don't want you as a customer anymore' crap... NO i don't want the App! I DO want the emails i signed up for, so far i've been just going to Aldi for the last month. no idea what they have on special at savealot anymore and I guess they don't want our business unless you want another damn App? pretty bad...
   Read moreI was recently at the North Collins Save A Lot trying to purchase gift cards for my church’s food pantry when a register issue prevented cards from being activated. The following day I noticed that a pending charge appeared on the bank account. I returned to the store and manager Jennifer assisted me. At the store level a charge did not appear but she did not stop there. She contacted her corporate help desk and had them investigate the transaction. Almost 3 hours later, 2 hours after her shift should have ended, I received a call from Jennifer. The charge did accidentally go through, so she had an activated gift card waiting for me to pick up at the store. In my professional career, I have managed hundreds of employees.
