Complete Failure of Service, Communication, and Professional Competence
I am writing this review to detail the unacceptable experience I had attempting to complete an essential medical scan at this facility. The sheer lack of professional competence, transparency, and accountability resulted in a completely wasted trip and a major inconvenience to my schedule.
Timeline of Failure and Service Breakdown Appointment Date/Time: Monday, September 29, 2025 at 6:45 PM
6:35 PM: Arrival & Check-In Failure. I arrived 10 minutes early for my 6:45 PM appointment, having completed all paperwork online. The front desk was unattended for nearly five minutes upon my entry.
6:40 PM: Misleading Wait Time. An employee, identified as Abby, finally appeared, checked me in, and instructed me to wait, stating I would be called shortly. This was a failure of proactive communication—critical information regarding the issue was intentionally withheld.
7:00 PM: The Actual Problem Disclosed. After waiting 15 minutes past my scheduled time, I approached the desk. Only then was I informed by Abby that a major "computer issue" was preventing my scan from proceeding. The facility allowed me to wait unnecessarily for 20 minutes before disclosing the critical problem.
7:05 PM: Employee Incompetence Identified. Abby confirmed that the external verification team responsible for resolving the technical issue had already left for the day. She explicitly stated the problem stemmed from incorrect information entered by an internal employee. My essential medical appointment was derailed solely due to internal staff administrative error.
Broken Promise: Abby personally assured me she would call me the next day, September 30th, to confirm the system was fixed and the new appointment was secure. I did not receive a call back yesterday (September 30th) from Abby as promised.
The Final Failure of Accountability After hours spent trying to get through to the facility, my wife finally spoke to a representative named Kathy today (October 1st).
Kathy confirmed the technical issue was resolved.
However, Kathy was dismissive, constantly stating she "didn't know what happened," and attempting to hang up on my wife.
Furthermore, Kathy confusingly mentioned that a "prior authorization was approved," which makes zero sense given the facility was informed I am paying for the scan entirely out-of-pocket (self-pay).
Conclusion This imaging center has demonstrated a complete breakdown in competence, communication, and professional conduct, extending from a critical staff error that caused a cancellation, to a subsequent failure to follow through, and culminating in a dismissive interaction with management. Read moreWow! What an great experience! I was not at all looking forward to my yearly MRI or the more infrequent sonogram ordered by my doctor. I went to the Seaford location because they could fit me in on my only day off Thank Goodness! I usually go to one in my hometown, but not anymore!
First of all, Jessica did my sonogram testing and couldn't have been more friendly and put me at great ease. It actually was a pleasure. Go figure?
Then there was Robert my nurse prepping me for my MRI who was a gentleman throughout a conflict I had with my prescribing doctor's office which wrote my script incorrectly. He was patient and professional and completely understanding as my issue delayed their schedule. The kindness was intense. What a pro!
Lastly was Catherine who did my MRI and she couldn't have been more comforting and quick. Anyone who has had an MRI knows these are two great characteristics of a tech.

Read moreSuch a nice place! All of the staff up front are quick, and efficient. The entire place is so clean, and well organized. After changing into a gown and waiting in the waiting room, I was checked on multiple times to assure I was comfortable. Nurse Kat took me back and I’ve never been made to feel more comfortable than she made me feel. She made sure I was informed, put my IV in with little to no pain, talked with me to calm me down, and made sure I was okay before brining me back. This was my first MRI, so I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect. All of the Techs were amazing, especially Cara. She kept making sure I was comfortable, made sure I was informed about what was going to happen, and was just very sweet overall.
