
Showed up at 4:45pm on a Monday to discover they didn't open until 5. Waited in the car with 2 toddlers. Around 5:10 a couple employees showed up but said they couldn't track down the manager. They let us in anyway and figured out how to get us lanes. One employee commented that it wasn't surprising the manager didn't show... Not a good sign. Also, the restaurant was closed, which was a bummer since we had planned to do dinner too. First Lane we tried was not working but the staff did a great job moving us and making sure we were all set. 2/3 urinals were out of order. Otherwise the facilities were in good shape. Shoes looked new. Scoring machines were old but worked fine. Just couldn't believe the manager never came over to talk to us. Not a good way to run a business. I participated in the Wednesday sweeper, they used a sport shot oil pattern called "poison" which could be renamed "an oil spill" because it was gutter to gutter overwhelming. I enjoyed the venue and appreciated the guy who ran the sweeper, he helped me understand the rules and kept answering my endless questions. I made the cut qualifying in 2nd place, I won my first head to head match and eventually lost in the Finals to a much better bowler named Bryan, who was a prime example of great sportsmanship.. 2nd place is cool.    Read moreBrad is a PBA probowler that many people know. He's very energetic and is full of knowledge. He does a BOWLU class every summer and has been a critical part of my game since. The staff is great, and his wife Mechelle is just as terrific. We bowl here on a league and eat on the patio as well. Amazing food amazing atmosphere, just an awsome place to be.
