Double A Vineyards, Inc. — Local services in Town of Pomfret

I don’t write reviews, however this company deserves one. I cannot express how amazing the stock is I received. I’m not a commercial grower, just a backyard gardener. I have about an acre I want to dedicate to raspberries and ordered a variety of plants this year to see how they do. The smallest plants I received were the size I’m used to from box stores and other nurseries however better rooted and carefully packed, 6 of the 8 raspberry varieties i ordered were huge- the root structure is four times the size of the entire plant that I’ve received from other growers. I have finally found a source for quality stock and will continue to use Double A Vineyards exclusively for anything they offer... Great customer service, I sent an email requesting additional plants and had an immediate response. Considering that they’re geared toward large growers and I only ordered a handful of plants my mind is blown. I couldn’t be happier. The prices are more than reasonable. From my experience anyone would be hard pressed to match the quality at any price. Job...

Has the potential to be a great operation and online ordering platform but needs A LOT of help in the customer service dept.

I am new to growing wine grapes and after a few amazing phone conversations with Double A soil scientists Luke I was ready to take the plunge with an order far above the 1K dollar mark.

Short story Luke no longer works there - I have called to get help on certain rootstock and their use in my area - none of the ladies working there can answer my question or even point me in the direction of someone who could.

After rough research myself I came to the final order only to find things labeled in stock are out of stock and the website is down. So I call and ask if I can process my new order over the phone so my stock does not sell out. Nope can’t help you there just have to wait until the website works is what I was told.

Since I am so far along in the process with this I will have to process my order with several varieties missing. If you are new to grapes and can wait to find a different...

I am so impressed with this company. I ordered the bareroot Heritage raspberries. The prices were great and the ordering process was smooth. The company lets you choose your shipping date. I chose 3 weeks out so I would have time to prepare a garden spot. I received an Email to remind me the plants were shipping. The customer service was awesome! Then when the plants arrived my mind was blown.. They arrived very nicely packaged wrapped in damp shredded paper. They were still moist and had tons of roots and looked super healthy.
