EDIT on July 10, 2025: I'm updating my review to 4 Stars. I had called and spoke to both Bill Bernard on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, and the service manager, Levi. Bill has been very responsive to both my review and follow up e-mail. Both him and Levi were very accommodating to my schedule, were apologetic, and made sure any concerns I had were addressed. They handled things professionally and quickly.
My alignment issues were a bit more complicated to the point where the normal alignment process wasn't able to fix it. They had an experienced tech complete the alignment, without bolts and control arms, and well under cost of what I was quoted elsewhere.
I had an issue, and everyone at Fredonia CDJR worked with me to come up with a solution. The road to get to the alignment was a bit bumpy, but I'm very happy with the end result. Everyone I had contact with (Bill, Levi, Jason, and the receptionist) were all very pleasant. I would definitely recommend taking your vehicle there for service.
I have been taking my vehicle here for 2 years, mainly for oil changes and inspections. There was never any issues with those and they happened as scheduled. I recently had an oil change on May 24, 2025, and I also was supposed to get an alignment.
I was told at that time that a camber bolt kit was needed and that the parts weren't in stock and had to be ordered. The Invoice/receipt says that I would receive a call when the parts arrive and that the alignment would be performed after installation. I was never called.
I made a new appointment for an alignment on June 28, 2025, and then received a call to switch my appointment to Tuesday, July 1, 2025. After waiting in the dealership for an hour on Tuesday, I was then told that the Mopar camber bolt kit that was ordered did not fit, and that a new kit would have to be purchased locally. I would have to reschedule yet again.
I set up an appointment for today, Wednesday July 2, 2025, and ultimately was told that a tech could come pick up my vehicle from where I work locally, and have it back to me before I left for the day. I had an appointment and was told i could call when I return to work so that the tech would know when my car was available. I called at 11:25 a.m. when I returned, and never received a return call. I then called in at 1:04 p.m. to cancel, because there was no way a tech was going to be able to get my car and get it back to me before I left work for the day...
Read moreIve gone here twice and would recommend you take your business elsewhere. I own a ram 2500 pick up truck, the first time going there is irrelevant to why im posting this but ill give info anyways. I needed a coolant flush which ended up taking them about 5 hours, wayy longer than it should have. BUT in September i went there for a simple inspection. THIS TOOK OVER 2 HOURS AND THEY MESSED IT UP. I had an appointment for 11:00, they got it in on time and all was good. An hour goes by and i ask why its taking so long with no answers. The young tech that was probably in his teens was flooring my truck through the parking lot and im pretty sure he took it out on the road for some reason. Its an inspection, there’s absolutely no reason to take it out for any sort of drive. TWO HOURS go by and they hand me a sheet saying it failed because its required to have smog testing due to it being a heavy duty commercial vehicle. ITS A PICK UP TRUCK. I pointed out that the sheet they handed me stated it was for commercial vehicles with a high gvwr and over 8500lbs In weight , and my truck is neither of those. But of course its now past 1 on Saturday so theyre closing and wont do anything to make it right or correct their error. Just a “sorry you can bring it back on Monday and we can try again” Ya okay, let me bring it back to a shop that wasted 2.5 hours of my time just to mess up my inspection. I took it to the next closest shop that same day and had it inspected in 30 minutes. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE THEY DONT KNOW WHAT...
Read moreUnacceptable Wear and Service Experience We are writing to express our extreme dissatisfaction with a recent service visit for our 2023 Jeep Compass which we purchased here and currently has just under 21,500 miles. Despite diligently performing oil changes and tire rotations every 5,000 miles, we were shocked to learn that our front driver's side tire is bald, and the other three tires are rated 2s and 3s by your service department. This indicates a severe alignment issue that should have been identified much earlier. It is baffling how such significant and uneven tire wear went unnoticed during our previous service appointments. We relied on your team to identify and address these issues proactively, especially given our adherence to the recommended maintenance schedule. Furthermore, we were informed that our rear brakes were "metal on metal." When we questioned this, the service manager's inconsistent response—initially suggesting we might have "3-5 thousand miles left"—only added to our frustration. Ultimately, we purchased four new tires, and chose to get the alignment, and replace the rear brakes elsewhere, all with less than 22,000 miles on a relatively new vehicle. While the dealership did offer the tires at their cost after much discussion, we still feel this outcome is completely unfair. We expect a new vehicle to perform reliably for a reasonable period, and for your service department to uphold a higher standard of care and...
