Dollar General — Local services in Town of Potsdam

If you shop here, DON’T. The manager, she is blonde and wrinkled. She’s most distinguishable by her muffin top because her shirts are usually too tight. Anywho, she followed me around the store, even though I’ve never have even shop-lifted, or committed any sort of criminal activity while shopping in the store. I was looking through the Arts&Crafts section, and she showed up at the end of the isle asking if I needed help finding anything, and I said “No, why?” Because I have been there several times and have seen her, never had she even bothered asking until this one time not only that it was very belittling the way she was asking me, as if I was a toddler. She didn’t reply.. so I continued on saying “Do you need help finding anything?” She said “No” then walked away. I soon realized a couple mins have passed when in a different isle, I turn around and see Ms.ILiveForDrama following me. When confronted on why I’m being followed, I stated that I’m here to get my items and go. She replied with “Yeah, not to pay for them”. She was clearly implying I was shop-lifting. She insisted on arguing with me, claiming it’s her store and she owns it and I can shop elsewhere if I don’t like it. I asked when if she had a staring problem, she continued to sit there for an additional 3 minutes watching me shop with my elderly grandfather and my mother. They have a good selection of products. They don't have produce or meats, but they do have milk and cheese and lunch meats well as some frozen foods. The only negative is trying to checkout. Quite often you have to hunt...
