I used to brag about this place (spent around $3000 there this year before this order which was close to $1000/ would have been $2000 of they actually had material) not so much anymore, couldn't get return call from dispatch to schedule the delivery, then received call from driver ( extremely polite and professional I'll say about him) luckily I was here at the time for delivery, tilt bed delivery (so he unloaded drywall by hand as not to damage it) half the material is out of stock , substitute for material they had in their inventory ( more expensive of course) but then was back ordered when delivery was made , so can't even start project week later still no stock so tried to substitute more from original order so I could begin , asked for slight reduction on delivery charge immediately caught attitude from person on phone, "why should we do that" Maybe it's because you are making 2 deliveries for the same order "not our fault our suppliers don't have stock" asked to cancel backordered insulation ( wasn't what I wanted but settled to start the project ) caught more attitude "you're getting mad at the wrong person" quite the condescending tone when I asked about CC refund ( have to make 30 mile round trip to recieve the refund ) Wasn't mad just needed the material ASAP they couldn't tell me when it would be .. so I went elsewhere and received a nice discount which basically got rid of the delivery fee never will I spend a penny in whites again ... Mentioned my ordeal to a few friends , they've had the same experiences that I dealt with .. moral of story don go to whites lumber unless you don't need it in a timely fashion or if you like to be talked down too ... Called and was told they had the product I needed. When I get there, I'm told they don't have it. The guy finally decides to look up inventory and tells me oh, I guess we do have it. The manager is too busy to be bothered to help as he is laughing at his phone. Then procedes to show the guy working with us the tiktok video! Go to get the items and they are complete junk, warped, pieces missing. What a waste of time! This place use to be well maintained & organized...what happened? It's a shame, I always try to buy local but I won't go back...

Been in the construction trade for approximately 40 years and out of all the lumberyards I’ve ever dealt with gotta be hands-down the worst quotes for messed up two times. Then when it’s supposed to be delivered, which was charged, a delivery fee was told it was set up for pick up, then two days later was told that the trucks were down had to travel all the way from New York City to my camp to receive delivery and was no-show terrible...
