Not sure why I am being asked to review rooms? But here is a review of the Market/Restaurant:

A Worthwhile Detour on the Way to the Adirondacks

We were heading from my Cornell University reunion up to the Adirondacks for some hiking when we stumbled upon this gem of a spot in Pulaski, NY. Mill House Market is a cozy, welcoming place just off I-81—easy to miss, but well worth the stop for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

The front of the shop sets the tone with a cute little market offering unique local gifts and goods, plus a sign out front with some classic Pulaski fishing-town humor (see photo for a chuckle). Inside, you can order at the counter for takeout or settle into their small dining room and order from the menu.

We opted to dine in and went with the savory crepes: mine was the smoked salmon with egg, cream cheese, capers, red onion, tomato, and lemon—all wrapped in a flavorful herb crepe and served over fresh arugula. The egg was cooked on top, and while everything was fresh and well-balanced, I would’ve loved the yolk just a little runnier—it would’ve made the perfect natural sauce. Still, a definite hit.

Our friend had the Sicilian Eggs with artichokes, spinach, fresh mozzarella, herbs, and grilled bread—plus avocado. It looked fantastic, and she really enjoyed it. Generous portions across the board.

A few things to note: the menu is extensive, which can feel a bit overwhelming at first glance. A little more structure or a clearer layout might help. Also, our lattes were served in to-go cups even though we were dining in, which felt a bit out of step with the otherwise cozy, sit-down vibe.

Service was friendly and attentive, though with just one server managing the room, things did slow down as it got busier. That said, she was warm, helpful, and clearly juggling a lot with grace.

Beyond breakfast, Mill House Market offers an impressive lineup of sandwiches, salads, bowls, pizzas, and rotating specials—so there’s plenty to choose from, no matter what time of day you stop in. It’s clearly a place built with care and personality—part café, part neighborhood hub—and a perfect pit stop whether you're local or just passing through between Syracuse...

My fiance and I have been patronizing The Mill House Market for several years now. We usually go there for lunch as they have amazing sandwiches made with Boars Head meats and cheeses, and homemade bread and Desserts. Also really good wood fired pizza & Calzones.

BUT, tonight we went for dinner as they now have extended hours and a top notch bistro menu. Once again, The Mill House did not let down! This place is OFF THE CHAIN!!!

We started out with the Whipped Feta app: a heaping bowl of savory fluffy greatness, garnished with Grape tomatoes, pine nuts, herbs, garlic and Shallots. Served with a whole loaf of sliced grilled artisan bread and drizzled with Balsamic glaze. WOW what a show stopper! Highly recommended!

We also ordered the Duck Sping Rolls app: Four Crispy wonton wrappers stuffed with Shredded Duck and veggies. Served with a smear of Hosin Sauce and a nice homemade sweet and sour dipping sauce. Super fresh, great Asian flavor.

As an in between course we ordered: Perogies "small plates", six handmade perogies, lightly fried & stuffed with a creamy herb filling, topped with Carmelized Onions, bacon and garlic. Hands down the BEST PEROGIES we've ever had, EVER! A must order!!!

Moving on to entrées, my fiance ordered the Stuffed Chicken: a beautiful Bancon Wrapped Airline Chicken breast stuffed with Apple, Cheddar, Pecans and Spinach and pan jus, served with well seasoned buttery red skin Mashed Potatoes, and Asparagus spears cooked to perfection. YUM!

I ordered the Gnocchi: Fluffy Potato Pasta Pillows, tossed with Fresh sausage crumbles, Roasted Butternut Squash, Spinach and a touch of garlic, Romano cheese and cream. Outstanding!!!

The service is just as good. The waitresses and bartender were extremely friendly, pleasant and accommodating.

Needless to say, this dining experience and The Mill House offerings, BLEW US AWAY!!! I'm telling you all right now, as a chef myself for over 30 years: This is by far one of the best places to dine in Central New York! It blows 99.99% of restaurants in Syracuse, OUT OF THE WATER!!! We will definitely...

had some great food - good food - messed up orders......after this many years.....lots of disappointments.....kids friendly but ....screwed up multiple times. drive nearly hour back and fourth to get home and find half ingredients missing. send private message instead of online complaint....finally responds - with attitude - I have a business to run....see it and don't respond...?....ok says there's a gift card to replace screw up. get up there next weekend...stand and watch kids...takes 3 girls to assemble breakfast burrito....almost wrapped - kid comes over with eggs - girl says - omg I forgot the eggs....no manager - owner - no guidance....I told cashier - someone needs to make sure their getting training. drove up today in weather - 30 plus min. each way today....closed. no post - no social media - no website post....no communication to the public....wasn't only one either other people outside shaking head and screwing up faces over wt*....message owner. yeah all I got was roads - teenagers - sorry ruined your day. roads bad enough to cancel because don't want teenagers driving....what about customers driving.... owner is so hands off its not even funny. zero responsibility for any screw ups....no apologies ....no change - same disappointment ...same lame excuses. no responsibility. no way to treat customers driving far distances to show loyalty to a business - who shows zero loyalty to its customers....25.00 for couple breakfast sandwiches + drink + any " goodies" and that's if there are any out...and a 25% plus tip...no appreciation for loyalty - share my loyalty with business who deserves it. done asking for respect from this one. people who are willing to patronize your business...but customers are not your concern...shouldn't be in business. they use to sell all kinds of breads and stuff - never have it anymore.....pretty sure owners checked out and doesn't really care - sadly after this many attempts...and been going there since they opened.....we're gonna check out too.....to someplace that does care and deserves our...

Super quaint, little spot. I drove by it a couple of times without realizing it was actually open. Found them on Google so decided to try them out while I was visiting the area. I went one evening for dinner. There were two young men working really hard, 30 minutes before closing, on a Friday night of a holiday weekend yet each was still smiling and being friendly and helpful. I found out they make their own bread and they have a daily special which happened to be Explosive. Given the description provided and the fact that I’m the unofficial condiment queen, I knew I had to try it. I got roast beef, provolone, spinach and had them grill it. They also had baked desserts. The first taste of the bread and I was disappointed, 2nd bite still disappointed, by the 3rd I think figured it out…there were so many different flavors going on it was confusing my palette and brain. Once I stopped thinking about what I thought it should taste like and just started eating it again I truly enjoyed the rest of it. There were so many different bold flavors but spread nicely so I really felt like every bite was like a completely different sandwich. I even went back for breakfast the next morning but the experience was different. The staff was not friendly, really not at all, almost borderline rude. Such a shame because, if not for that, it would have been at least 4, maybe 5 stars.
