Absolutely Excellent Experience with TRT Bikes!

We rented two e-bikes from TRT in April for a two-day adventure, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. Christian was incredibly helpful and made the entire rental process smooth and stress-free. When we arrived, one of the team members carefully fitted us to our bikes, added bottle cages, and supplied us with chargers and a bike tool kit — everything we needed to hit the trails with confidence.

On day one, we rode the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail, covering about 23 miles. Toward the end, the motor assist on my bike briefly cut out once or twice. I initially thought it might have been something I did. On day two, we set out on the beautiful Mohonk Preserve Carriage Trails, but unfortunately, the motor assist on my bike cut out again a couple of times, making the ride more challenging than expected. We ended up cutting our ride a bit short and headed back.

When we returned the bikes and explained the issue to Christian, he couldn’t have been more understanding. He listened carefully, was genuinely concerned about our experience, and was more than fair in how he handled the situation. That kind of customer service is rare and truly appreciated.

Despite the hiccup with the bike, we had a great time exploring the area, and I wouldn’t hesitate to rent from TRT Bikes again. Their team is friendly, professional, and committed to making sure their customers have a great experience....

After researching different cycling shops in the area, I had the great fortune of coming here for a bike fitting. My wife gifted me this for my birthday, knowing this is something I been wanting for a while. This shop is a great shop. The owner is very welcoming and actually cares about providing you with what you want. In my case I wanted a bike fitting to better utilize my bike and eliminate random soreness and fatigue in weird spots of my body. The owner took his time methodically going through my measurements and fine tuning different angles to make sure I felt most comfortable in my bike. He wasn’t rushing me and he went out of his way to answer any question I had. I really appreciate that. My first impression of this shop is wow, I wish I knew about it sooner as I would have started here for my cycling needs over other competitors in the area. Anywho, I’ll def be coming here for whatever needs I have in the future. A GEM of a bike shop! Christian and his team have great energy and I loved the vibe in the store.

I stopped by just through passing.... looking for someone to fix up my older model Specialized M2 with Deore XL components, which is super dear to my heart. I needed a new handle bar that still suits the character of the bike and my riding preference. Christian took all my desires seriously and found (ordered) the perfect handle bar to match.

All this within only a couple of days. They work precisely and fast at the same time. I can now enjoy the remaining fall days on my bike buddy, which I did not ride within 2 years and feels like brand new again.

Will definitely be back and can highly recommend this place...
