Creekside Bar & Bistro — Restaurant in Town of Rosendale

Waited forever, our food ticket was lost, so a table that arrived 20 minutes after us, got their food before we did. Waitress didn’t fill our drinks until 45 minutes after we got the first round, then she never came back, well done burger came out rare, fries were still frozen, the buffalo chicken salad was drenched in Italian dressing when I order blue cheese that’s after we waited 1 hour and 36 minutes to get to us. Then they thought giving is 10% off was sufficient for food we couldn’t even eat! Disgusting, overpriced and service was horrendous, stay clear of this place! We have eaten at this establishment over 25 times and 2x we have had issues, the woman owner, seems extremely petty and rude, I’m sure readers of this post will witness it firsthand when she replies to this review. Sept 2025 Had late afternoon lunch with a friend. I had a salted caramel espresso martini. It was pretty and delicious. We shared fried green tomatoes. I always get them here! I had the crab cake and corn and bacon soup to go. She had a wrap and wine. Lovely afternoon on the deck. Great service.

Update... stopped in for lunch.. had the fried green tomatoes, crab cake sandwich and coconut mohito. My husband had the coconut shrimp and clam poboy. Btw, the fries are just right, nice and crispy but soft inside. We enjoyed our meal as usual.

Great place for a bite. I've had lunch here before. Today was just drinks and a quick bite. Green fried tomatoes done nicely. We also had wings with a sweet chili glaze. They were yummy. This place is overpriced and overrated!

In town visiting went to this place because it was of convenience and was charged for EVERY SINGLE THING!

Down the flavors in the margaritas, which I was never informed of! Different prices for frozen drinks? Nothing listed on the menu for none of the up charges which is barbaric! And sides of salsa when we had nachos and tacos like get real! Might as well charged for the straws!

Drink and food specials and the bill was over $150 for 6 drinks, tacos, and fries! On cinco de mayo Ya’ll really charged for salsa lol. Crazy! I would recommend this place as a pit stop, water tastes like DIRT, it’s not refreshing at all and really tastes like they dumped your glass in a well.
