Flowers By Mark — Local services in Town of Rotterdam

Mark is rude, argumentative, and ignores customers wishes. I cannot recommend anyone go here.

After placing an order with Mark with one specific request, the order arrived with the one type of flower I requested not to be in it. After my fiancée and I both argued with Mark, we finally agreed on a refund. Mark then showed up at my house trying to replace the flowers with other types. After again reminding him that we agreed on a refund a returning the flowers, I am still waiting for said refund a week later.

I do not understand where all these glowing reviews are from because that was not my experience at all and the others I spoke with knew exactly who I had been dealing with and confirmed my negative experience.

EDIT: since I’m just noticing months after the fact that Mark wants to lie to his customers that I should give the full story.

After purchasing a bouquet with one request of not including certain flowers due to allergies said bouquet was filled with those exact same flowers. During the call to correct this Mark not only was combative about the bouquet but he also blamed one of his employees for the mistake (as a business owner he should have made sure it was down correctly first and foremost, and following that should have taken the blame like a business owner). He also argued with my fiancée about the bouquet being correct.

After reaching an agreement that Mark work process a refund he showed up at my house well after dark with a replacement bouquet. After again telling what was going to be done standing on my front porch he again agreed that he would process a refund.I gave him a week to process the refund and got nothing so I had to file a dispute with my bank. After that I finally got my refund.

The flower shop I went to after the fact knew who Mark was immediately after I gave them a brief summary of my situation and put me under the impression he is not a capable man. Confirming pretty much my entire experience.

I contacted Mark the night before my mother's services. I had ordered her flowers from another company online. I contacted this florist three times the night before her services to find out at the last minute that the flowers I ordered were unavailable when I spoke with Mark he said he could help me out and he would get flowers delivered and that finally morning for a 9:00 service. I’ve been very busy and so it was last minute when I contacted Mark for a bouquet of flowers for my daughter’s graduation. He definitely came through. The bouquet was gorgeous! I had given Mark full range and what he created so full, fresh, and beautiful. The bouquet was wrapped and finished with ribbon that was made into a bow. His attention to detail was prevalent not only in the flowers but even in the ribbon. The bow was not flimsy at all and he took time to find out her school colors and coordinated. He was very professional and delivered on time as promised. He made a hectic mom so happy and even more importantly he made my graduate happy.
