How often do you get to meet the manufacturer of things you buy, exchange names, and have them have show you their product and dig through boxes with you to help you find what you want, while fielding calls from major department store buyers? Nancy N.and her visiting daughter did help me find what I wanted I was there. This no-frills factory store tucked just off the road in Rotterdam has a large selection of high quality mittens, gloves, leg warmers, hats, and more, made in the factory across the little parking lot. If the time is right, you might be able to arrange a tour. If you pay with credit, you will have to go over to the factory with your total written on a slip of paper yo have someone finish cashing you out. There is no music but a little radio. It's not very warm inside (better to test mittens). It's easy to move around inside and product is fairly well organized, so you can glance around and find the section you want to check out. Prices are very reasonable for the quality. You are not paying for the overhead of the amenities many modern factory stores have in their attempt to mimic a retail setting. This is a true factory store; so stock may be different the next time you visit. I'm sorry to say, but customer service is in need of serious improvement. They should tell you when you order that processing and shipping will take forever. My story is long winded but in the end, I still haven't received my product (ONE PAIR OF GLOVES)15 days after placing an on-line order. I emailed an inquiry (no reply). I called and left a message (no return phone call) and I was told they were too busy to give me any tracking numbers when i called another time and finally spoke to the manager. The website was down when i tried to log in and find my order. It took them 3 days to even process my order of one pair of gloves. Another 4 days to tell me it was complete. And 8 days later I still do not have my gloves. Rather than offer to send me another pair of gloves to make the problem better, the manager told me it is out of her hands and not her problem anymore. And people wonder why ma and pop stores are going out of business? I could of had gloves at my doorstep from Amazon Prime in the time it took them to even start to process my...

Ok this is like going to Grandma's back yard building and meeting grandma at her best knows everything about gloves socks and more . We had a special moment figuring out how to use the very old credit card machine . But another customer came and we just made the transaction.
