I have had almost 2 decades of great and professional service from Crystal Rock - for several years at 2 office locations -but how our relationship ended was awful. As I am closing my office I needed to have my cooler and bottles retrieved. I was given a 4 hour window (9 AM - 1 PM) and since I'd have to go to the office and wait, I asked that I be given a call 1 - 2 hours before pick up and I'd meet the driver there. CR agreed. By 11:30 I hadn't heard from them, called and was told I was still on the 9 - 1 window, I drove to the office, arriving at 11:45 AM. After several more calls trying to ascertain arrival times, I ultimately got a call from the Watertown office at 4 PM saying they wouldn't be there because "....Syracuse was closed down due to Taste of Syracuse". Seriously??? Fortunately, from downtown Syracuse, I was able to get home without delay. This was a Friday. I asked that we try again on Monday and I asked for first pick up......which she said she'd note but couldn't guarantee. I arrived at 8:45 AM. Several calls later.....after having been told a supervisor would call me which never happened, I was, again, on hold when a delivery man walked into the office, never knocked, never greeted me and started to collect the cooler. Only after I insisted on a greeting did he do so. He also indicated he had been at my office the previous Friday at 2 PM and it was locked, which a) was never indicated to me on my multiple calls to the office, and b) was impossible, since I was there from 11:45 - 4:30 and only left once to feed the meter at which time I left the office unlocked. My car was one half block from my office. I don't know if management at CR has changed or what has happened, but this was a most unpleasant ending to an otherwise very good...
   Read moreBefore Vermont Pure took over Crystal Rock, the service was reliable and the quality of the water jugs and water was excellent. Then service began to go downhill. Water wasnât delivered on the dates scheduled, bottles looked banged up, and the water wasnât as tasteful. I decided to cancel service the 3rd of January and scheduled a pickup date for my equipment and bottles on January 7. Since that date, the company has rescheduled my pickup date eight (8) times! I have had to haul the water cooler/heater up and down the stairs from my second floor apartment each time along with 6 empty bottles. I have made numerous calls to the companyâs answering service where I received apologies and promises to pick up the equipment and bottles at a future scheduled appointment. It has become ridiculous! I donât know how this company stays in business. Today is rescheduled date #8. Everything is ready for pickup, but whether the company will even show is anybodyâs guess.    Read moreDo NOT do business with this company!! They were wonderful before Vermont Pure sold out to DS Services/Crystal Rock but now they are horrible to deal with. Delivery dates were never on time according to schedule nor were the number of bottles delivered what I had ordered. My account was always on auto pay but was mysteriously removed from auto pay without my knowledge and my balance was sent to collections with NO notification that I was behind in my payments, no invoice, no phone call...Customer service was ridiculous to deal with and I could have received more personality out of an automated service! I was told that my account would be reinstated after I paid my balance, which I paid immediately, they then refused to reinstate my account because of 'policy'.
