UPDATE.... THE BLUEBERRY DANISH WAS STALE AND HARD COVERED IN ALL NEW FROSTING. NOW THAT IS AS DISHONEST AS THEY COME. 5/17/2021. Honestly very disappointed. I once raved and loved Lyncourt Bakery. I missed them while I lived in California. Staff are rude, not friendly. No smile, no hello. Acted frustrated when I went April 25 early am. Lunch sticks, that supposed to have cream, nope a teaspoon of cream if that. This was my first time back, since March. In March, again rude staff. The chocolate cream pie was stale and old tasting. Half moons, lacked frosting and crumbled. Their cut out cookies were supposed to be a shamrock. Lmao more like a blob with green frosting and three or four sprinkles. I can go elsewhere,and I won't recommend anyone to go there either. You have your regulars, I once was, not anymore. UPDATE 10/13/23 Their loaf of bread was ridiculous. I never seen such a sad loaf like I did that night. Mishappened, heavy and really no flavor. When i shaped wrong it was long and thin. I asked for sandwich but cut horrible. It actually had points like a submarine. The price I spent I could of went anywhere else to get bread. Donuts are more fresh, more flavored and cheaper if I went to Dunk in. Donuts are smaller and stale. 20.25 for what I bought ....

I have lived in Syracuse my whole life and had moved south last year. Was extremely excited to get real donuts for the first time in a year. Our family has gone to Lyncourt for long before I was around. We waited for them to bring out donuts first thing in the morning, only leftovers from the night before were there, which is fine we didn’t expect to have fresh donuts right at open. We were saddened to see the donuts are not what they used to be! The service was awful, when requesting a jelly donut she said “NOPE” as I guess there were different powdered donuts on display.. our bad. Seemed like our presence was a burden and like walking around to make our box was an inconvenience. No thank you and no please. She didn’t even know what was in the display case! At the least to say we were disappointed to see a long time Syracuse staple ruined. Always remembered good donuts and sweet ladies when I was a kid.. I guess this place has...

I would give zero stars if possible. We have been going to Lyncourt for years. We ordered a 1/2 sheet cake 2 weeks ago for my wife’s 60th birthday party. Ordered it in the store, watched them fill out the card, and we were told it would be ready for pick up Saturday after 4:30. Perfect, the party started Saturday night at 6:00, so we could pick it up on the way to the party. We get there at 4:45 and no cake and they couldn’t find the order. No apologies, no remorse, just “there’s nothing we can do”. Very disappointed. Not to mention the last couple times we went there previously the donuts are getting smaller and not very fresh. We will be patronizing a different bakery...
