Catskill Outfitters — Local services in Town of Shandaken

Walked in and was immediately made to feel welcomed. Many fly fishing outfitters in NY state can be cold and hesitant of outsiders. Not this store, guy at the front desk took a separate box of flys that were known to winners for that week and made some solid recommendations. With his advice and recommended flys we took off and got plenty of bites and nibbles. People who regularly fly fish know that nibbles are sign of a successful trip.

Catskill Outfitters is my go-to local shop for Fly Fishing. Paul is an awesome dude and loaded with tons of knowledge. He is spot on when it comes to fly selections for the area as well.
