TOPS Friendly Markets — Local services in Town of Sullivan

If any other grocery store was nearer, I would go there instead, but unfortunately, it is the closest. Wegman's is superior in every way. Fayetteville TOPS is just slightly better due to volume, so I go there instead. The Chittenango location is filled with employees griping about management with the exception of a few fantastic employees at the registers. The produce (berries, apples, lettuce) is often wilted or nearly spoiled. The meat is often sold very near to expiration. Dairy (milk and yogurt especially) are often close to expiration or even past. I have stopped shopping here when I can help it, as I had to stop throwing out spoiled food and wasting money. If you ever need a cake, come here! I needed a cake for my two children's birthday party and was swamped with work, so I forgot to order one until the day before. The bakery said 'no problem', asked what I wanted, which my only reply was half balloons and half flowers with their names on it. We picked it up the next day to an amazing surprise of half blue and half pink/purple as well! The cake was so decorated so nicely and it tasted amazing! Definitely one of the best cakes I have tasted, will be coming back for all birthday cakes...

Disappointed because I bought a bag of pibkano peppers called "Hotties" and all 3 peppers we're rotten. I bought them because there were very few other pepper choices.
