I want to talk about Kevin's Royal automotive collision center! A few weeks ago I had the unfortunate experience of hitting a bear on 17C west of town. It was towed to Royal after the weekend and that's when the magic started to happen! The collision center has recently been restaffed with a seasoned topnotch team and I can't sing enough praises about their professionalism. From how they immediately got my bumper pulled out so I could continue to drive it while the parts were ordered, to making the interaction with the insurance company a breeze was simply perfection. Once the parts came in (which didn't take but a few days) they had me in a loaner vehicle and the repairs were underway! As always with situations like this more damage was discovered when it was disassembled and they got things ordered with little impact to the discussed plan. After all of this they even took the time to detail the inside and outside of my truck. Side note I am a quality manager so details matter to me. Read moreI had the event of a engine light warning on my 2016 Escape for no real apparent reason. None of the symptoms that the literature describes were evident in my car. Todd and technicians welcomed me into the service department and told me not to worry, they had this. After careful diagnosis of the situation, it was determined that what I needed was a new purge valve. The part was in stock, and the job was done in about 2 1/2 hours once in the shop for the work. Read moreService dept is crap. Sure they might actually fix your vehicle (eventually), but the service reps and the entire service area is terrible. If you have a tricky problem with your car, you need to be knowledgeable enough about what's going on or they will try to replace parts they just replaced last visit, even if it didn't fix the problem the last time. You have to push back. Speaking of calling, expect to do that because it's likely they won't call you. And don't expect them to answer half the time either.
