Trenton Food Outlet — Local services in Trenton

I hadnt been there in 5yrs or so. Due to rising cost of groceries, I decided to go visit as I'm hearing of such great bargains @ Food Outlet in Trenton. Went on Monday. I ask a butcher for the next size up for ground chuck & he tells me that's the biggest they sale but come back Wed bc they are havin a big sale & they were going to have a larger size. So I then go on down to grab a Boston butt & ask to have it sliced. Well it was too late. They were washing their equipment & done for the day. I was OK w/that & decided I'd wait til Wed. Go in there today... there were no bigger portions of ground chuck so I ask a butcher & he went & made me one. I then ask to have a Boston butt sliced & he ask how I wanted it cut. I told him like pork steal. The Butcher then tells me HE WOULD HAVE TO CHARGE ME FOR THE PRICE OF PORK STEAK!!!!!??? WHAT??? REALLY???. So I go speak to the manager & he followed suit w/the butcher!! I returned the food in my cart & walked out! I HAVE NEVER HAD TO PAY ANYTHING EXTRA FOR SLICING. THATS...

Wife and I just went to food outlet to pick up some groceries. I'm not leaving a review for the store, the good and prices are always great. I am leaving a warning to consumers about how creepy the internet, specifically Google has become. I left the store after paying cash, arrived home and glanced at my cell phone. A banner message was on the screen with Google asking me to leave a review on my shopping experience at food outlet. Not cool. These phones are tracking everything we do, places we go, our shopping habits, Google searches etc. That does not include other witchcraft I'm sure we're unaware of. I've heard talk about phones actually listening to conversations, keying certain words, then an ad pops up on your social media feed selling exactly what you were talking about. I'm done, too much invasive BS in our world today. I don't need a cell phone, and will be throwing this cheap Wal-Mart Samsung in the trash after I press post. Prices are great, selection is pretty good for size. The produce is either hit or miss, most of the time miss bc so many fruits and veggies will be rotting and still sitting out to affect the others. There has been times when the sandwich meats are looking discolored and just all kinds of wrong. One time there was a horrible, vomit-inducing smell towards the back near the back and it turned out it was slimy, greenish-gray, rotten bacon sitting on the shelf for sale with employees all around, ignoring it. Sometimes other meats are turning color from sitting directly under the lights. Most of the staff is friendly and professional, except for 2 in particular that are rude, unfriendly, and dismissive. Let's hope their attitudes don't rub off on the rest of the employees since these 2 are some that...
