If your traveling I-59 through Georgia and need a place to stay, dont stop at the Days Inn at the Trenton Exit!! They have Roaches! Extemely dissapointed in our stay last Friday. Many of our hiking group stayed here because we were hiking at Cloudland Canyon the next morning and had an early start. When we walked into our room it smelled terrible. There was no air blowing in the room which made it worse. Turned on the air and left to go get dinner. After returning we noticed the toilet was leaking. Thats when we saw the roach. We had other friends staying in several other rooms and they also had them. When they opened up their coffee pot to get the coffee ready for the next day, they were in the top. EWE!!! So not a very restful sleep that night. Its hard to sleep when your hoping roaches dont crawl in your ears and take up residence! The bed was somewhat comfortable and seemed clean, but Lots of noise comes in from the outside. The next morning we informed the front desk and asked for a discount on our stay. No apology and We were told she would leave a message for the manager. Havent heard from them. When you pay $150 a night you expect the room to be clean and comfortable and BUG free. Next time Im planning to stay near Cloudland Canyon I will go on into Tennesse and drive an extra 10-15 miles back to the park. Its sad that this is the only hotel option this little city has to draw business into. But if your looking for a great mexican restaurant to eat at, go to the Three Amigos! Excellant service and food! AND FYI. This is a two story hotel with no elevator. Wasnt a problem for us, but...
Read moreMy wife and I came here for a vacation our first night it was okay, at first everything seemed fine, then after our first night that’s when we started seeing the way things were, our bed was extremely hard and very difficult to sleep on, my wife had seen roaches in our room, there was hair in the bathtub, and that was just our room in general. Before we checked in my wife checked to see if there was a breakfast selection available, and she was told there was, after we woke up we went over to go for breakfast and the only options was a honeybun, a small thing of yogurt, a packet of oatmeal, which you have to make yourself, and also some juice either apple or orange, the apple juice was a pretty sad attempt to be called apple juice. I get it that Covid is still a thing and I’m sure that’s what is effecting the breakfast but seeing other places opening back up to just about normal why hasn’t the breakfast area come back to normal? Now on to the pool, our first day in the pool it seemed okay, the pool seemed clean, but on our second day we saw bugs all in the pool, pieces of roaches and even a couple of whole roaches, I get it that bugs are going to come in and there’s nothing that can be done but someone really needs to at least keep the pool area clean...
