This is an outstanding auto repair shop. It is well worth the drive from Huntsville, AL to get your repairs done here. After taking my car in for an estimate to overhaul my front end suspension to a shop in S. Huntsville that quoted a price over $1800, I called Allison's. Not only did Josh do a perfect job on that, they included an alignment and synthetic oil change all for only $1564, saving me about $300. I requested all the old parts, and they placed them in a box in the rear of my vehicle. I requested to see the work done, they lifted the car and walked me through the job done. It was excellent work.I received another quote from a shop in Huntsville for a fuel pump replacement. When they told me it was going to cost over $800 I told them that's too much. The Tech mgr told me that the cost of the part was $300, but they were going to charge me $475 for the part and $100/hr for labor. I promptly called Allison's to see if they could help. They got me in right away. They not only fixed the fuel pump, but when I picked it up, they ran a couple of extra tests, showed me all the old parts the changed out, explained everything thoroughly, and treated me like I matter. They proved to me that another shop in Huntsville, Rocket City on S.Memorial Pkwy, a year earlier, ripped me off by charging me for a fuel pump replacement and didn't change the original pump out!! Took my vehicle there twice in 4 months. Both times for abnormal wear on rear tires. Both times they said the machine shows that there is no reason for my tire wear to be so aggressive. We were there April 26th 2023. My rear tires were already showing wire less than 3500 miles later as we took it in August 31st 2023. I had my wife put me on speaker phone while discussing what the issues could possibly be. They again informed us that there was nothing they could do, because the alignment machine in use would be able to show them if there were any damaged parts related to the frame and axles. After leaving their shop we promptly took it to a family members shop with an auto lift and in less than 5 minutes found a warped support and the sway bar was 2 inches out of center.
