Kell Hardware — Local services in Troy Township

The Kell Hardware crew is AMAZING! It's not Home Depot, Lowes, or any other big box store. They provide solutions to the weird problems we all seem to encounter during remodels, projects, etc. In short, they carry almost all the little bits that you need for every day projects. And if they don't have it..... ready for this.... they will actually tell you where to go find/buy the parts they don't have!

By far, they are the best full service hardware store that I know of. I grew up in Lexington, moved away for many years, and after I moved back to Richland County, I am once again going to Kell's. Every time you walk in, you are greeted by Jeff, Jacob, or Peyton (the main characters) and when you leave, you'll leave with a resolution to your "problem."

If nothing else, stop in and check out the plethora of Lexington history that is contained within the store....

This is a hardware store not a big box store there is someone available at the door to greet you almost every single time you walk in immediately ask you how your day is and if they can help you find what you're looking for, Walk you to that area of the store help you make a selection and add any information or advice they may have about your situation and offer to help in any way possible The people that run own and work at Kell hardware are absolutely wonderful people that care about what they do and care about their customers like their family... They don't have everything but if they don't have it the recommend the best place to get it. I always enjoy shopping at Kell Hardware. A great hometown, small business that has friendly and knowledgeable employees that are truly helpful. I would rather spend my money at this business than any major hardware store. I have never left that store without getting great service! They have anything you may need for a quick or even long term fix for a home project or repair. We also purchased custom made screens from them and they exceeded our expectations and were a better price than several places we had called to quote us. They came out the same day and took measurements and had the screens ready in two days. Can't say enough good things about...
