Nickel and Bean has great coffee, I just recently went in and got thier special orange cardamom, it was really good!! I wouldn’t get it if you can be weird about texture bc there was small pieces of orange in the latte which had a weird mouth feel. There is three different rooms you can sit in, I like the bar by the window the best! The second room has one big table and a few booths and the third room, where bathrooms are located, had more comfortable seating with a couch and chairs! The shops vibe has always confused me, the inside of the shop is well decorated, neat, and gives cute Pinterest coffee shop vibes. When you come in and meet the baristas, you might get thrown off a bit, I don’t mean this negatively. Every time I come in the baristas have been very grunge (wear dark clothes, dyed hair, piercings) which is the opposite vibe of the shop. So it’s just interesting to me. I have absolutely no issues with being served by baristas that dress in that kind of style, I just feel the energy of the building is clashing with the baristas energy. But maybe that is the point, a place where all are welcome and you can come as you are. I came in on a Saturday and the energy was high and positive. The baristas were super nice and loved to chat! I came in on a week day towards late afternoon the other day and the energy was much different. I felt like the barista was very ready to go home. Overall I think this coffee shop is great, interesting, and will still be coming back for their coffee😊

My husband and I were recommended this shop by our doctor. With only going to this place two times, we found ourselves leaving with numerous items due to the diversity of options, the amazing taste, and quality of items. We live over 30 minutes away and plan on visiting at least once a month (hopefully more!) I got the white chocolate mocha and it tasted better than any coffee place I have tried thus far (and I drink a lot of coffee). My husband got the white mocha with raspberry and a caramel latte and said they were the best he's ever had (he's a serious coffee drinker too). While all of the food items we got were 5 stars in all categories, the peaches and cream Danish was created by the hands of God and the breakfast sandwich was delivered by angels. The staff was super friendly and offered amazing suggestions, hence us leaving with multiple heavy bags. Overall, this place is amazing and I wish I lived closer, but will happily make the trek as often as possible. Thank you for your small business. We can tell you are a beacon of the community and put all of your heart into it.

Stopped by Nickel & Bean on our way from Columbus to Cleveland. It looked interesting so we swung by to check it out. I'm so happy we did. Loved this place from the moment we got out of the car. Great back patio with people hanging out. Walked in and noticed right away that the place was very clean. Love that. Ordered a cold and a hot Latte. Plus a huge chocolate chip cookie (with salt? ) All were delicious. There was lots of seating split between 3 rooms. Couch and chairs for groups, table for 2 ... Very nice atmosphere. Bathrooms were clean. Staff was very friendly. Overall A++ for Nickel & Bean. I wish there was a place like this near me.

I visited this establishment twice over the 2022 July 4th holiday weekend while in town for an Indy Car race at Mid-Ohio. The first time we came inside to order coffee and something for breakfast. As we were new to the coffee house, unfamiliar with their menu, and only saw their coffee drinks posted (not their food items) I asked two questions. (My 18 year old son has high functioning autism and a picky eater so I wanted to be sure he would eat what we ordered.) While the girls behind the counter were helpful and friendly when answering me the adult man, working with them who jumped in to answer, was not. He acted as if my question regarding what flavor the scones were and if we could have the bacon on the bacon, egg and cheese biscuit placed on the side an interruption and bother to him. While the drive-thru was busy, we were the only people at the counter at that time. We did come back a second day and just got a coffee through the drive-thru and again the girls there were very pleasant and efficient. The only negative is that when pulling out of the drive-thru onto the road it is VERY difficult to see oncoming traffic as the building/drive thru are so close to the road due to it being an older building with very...
