Update 3/16/24
Went here again today and I love the options they have added! My boyfriend and I got the ciabatta Mac melt, garlic butter melt, Cajun tots, and broccolini fondue soup. The soup was amazing and I’m glad I got it, so I’m looking forward to their other daily soups in the future! The Mac melt was also one of my favorites we got today, and I can’t wait to have it again. As for the garlic butter melt, I liked to combine that with my soup that I had. The tots were great as always. Adding in the ciabatta for both those sandwiches is a perfect choice, texture was great and it complimented the contents well.
Service was also awesome as always, and I love the employees kindness! My boyfriend and I sat out on the patio, and they offered blankets since it was a windy day out. The fireplace on the patio made everything nice and cozy though! Excited to come back again soon :)
Original: First off, love what they’ve done with the place! Atmosphere is great and cozy. I usually walk up instead of doing drive through, and the fire that’s outside helps keep one cozy when it’s cold and they’re waiting for an order. I haven’t seen the inside yet. In terms of food, I’ve gotten a hot dog and a sandwich. I believe the hot dog was called a corny dog. The flavor was great, but the hot dog and bun were hard. I got tater tots with them and those tasted great, plus there was a good amount. As for the meat sandwich (not sure the official name), the bread was hard again for that, and the sandwich tasted a bit bitter? Not sure if that was me or one of the ingredients. But the service from the employees both times I have been there has been awesome. They’re nice and do their best to make sure you’re able to get what you want. I’d visit again as I feel they’re still adding to the menu and adjusting as they go since they’ve only recently opened. My only hope is that the food isn’t hard, but like I said I’m sure it’ll improve! Cant wait to see what’s...
Read moreWe ordered the Banh-Mi and Carolina Hotdogs. Both had absolutely delicious flavors on great buns, the hotdogs themselves are very meaty and cut into a spiral which we thought helped the flavor and keep some of the toppings on the bun as opposed to in the boxes. We also ordered the garlic parmesan tater tots which were absolutely delicious, especially if you like garlic because they do not skimp on that. The craft soda was a good balance of sweet and flavor without becoming too artificial tasting, the brand is "United Sodas of America".
We also loved the little note that was attached to the receipt on the bag. It was such a nice little touch that helps play into the name of the little joint.
The atmosphere was pretty great, especially for a 60° day in the middle of February. The outside patio has 2 gas fire pits to sit around with a group of friends, and there's a little turf addition beside that with some more lounging seats.
All in all we loved the food and time we spent there and would recommend it to everyone to try when they are in town, whether for the Race track or just...
Read moreIt is difficult to tell if they are open from the road. You walk up to the window on the front of the building to place your order. They had music playing and the fires were lit so we could tell that they were there once we started to approach. I got the chili cheese dog and my husband got the Bahn Mi dog. We split an order of garlic parmesan tater tots. It was all delicious. The woman who took our order was very welcoming and friendly. Order food came out in a brown paper bag with a cute handwritten note on it. We sat outside to eat, I think that is the only option so far (it is currently September 2023) but that is supposed to change soon. The two seating areas were very cute. It was a pleasant place to sit and eat. Located on US Route 42 just north of the State Route 546 in Lexington, catty corner across from Nickel & Bean. There is of parking in the rear...
