Freedom Fun USA — Local services in Troy

This the second (paid) time and it will be the last time I will use Freedom Fun USA paid or otherwise! They were very late! I had to tell them that we did not have time to set up the bouncy castle because half of the children went home, and it would be dark by the time they would have completed the set up! It should have been delivered at 5pm, but it didn't arrive until after 7pm. The movie screen was not up until almost 8ish pm. They also used my DVD cover to make sure the projector was straight, without asking, and they broke it at the top. Once the movie screen was set up, the speakers were in the way of the screen, and I had to ask them to move them. Once everything was set up, they did make the popcorn and did hand out popcorn bags to everyone and stayed there until after the movie ended. They almost forgot about giving me back my DVD. The two gentlemen were very nice and respectful, but very slow! They said they were new employees. Well, someone who could have observed them and help should have been there! This was the third time I used them (the company not the individuals), and the third time they messed up. I spent quite a bit of money for this setup. At last year's event we couldn't get the movie to start right side up. Their guy finally came back to try and fix the problem, but he took forever and most of the kids and parents went home. They gave me a bouncy castle for free a couple of months later for our Back-to-School Event and a spike punctured a water pipe. That would make it three for three. It is rare that I give a company or an individual a poor rating, but this outfit deserved it! As I said, the employees were nice and very respectful, but that didn't make what happened any better! My opinion, DON'T USE THEM!

We rented a bounce house and popcorn machine for my daughter's 6th birthday (carnival theme). I called to confirm the rental Thursday, for a Sunday party. At 9:00 the night prior, someone from the shop called to confirm again. Both the bounce house and popcorn machine were given to us in filthy condition. We were told "nothing a little soap and water won't fix". The bounce house provided was not the one ordered. The staff at Freedom Fun argued with my partner about this until a receipt was provided. Another bounce house was provided, which was also dirty. About an hour before the party, a new popcorn machine was provided. The service manager told my partner they'd be providing a refund. The owner, who brought the popcorn machine, said "please ask your wife to not leave a review" which didn't sit right with me. He then asked if we were expecting a refund. Seems there's some miscommunication in the office. No refunded was issued. This was a disappointing experience. Instead of continuing to decorate and make sure things were ready, we were cleaning and stressing about the equipment. We lost a few hands for a few hours. Definitely frustrating. There's a lot of nice reviews here, but I don't think overall it's a true representation of the company. The entire team was above and beyond. I thought great Customer Service was a thing of the past until this company. They took our order last minute since our other bounce house fell through and within hours we had the franchise owner driving from an entire different part of Texas to fulfill the request. This team found a way with their already packed requests to help us. Danielle, Michael, and Stormy were amazing. Once Michael arrived, there became a point with his magnetism I just had to ask, what does he read? Just an interesting human who does great things on a global scale. You just have to appreciate an organization and great humans doing outstanding service for all. This company is doing much more than providing us fun. Also, these products can be used by adults. My spouse and I jumped in the amazing bounce house with an awesome, huge slide! Will absolutely do business again and would definitely recommend! Michael was even worried he would be late but he had it up earlier than his self induced arrival time.
