My experience with the team at Tech Automation has been worthy of five stars. I researched Control4 vendors in the Rochester area and after speaking to a few firms I chose Sean and the team at Tech Automation. I had worked with other Control4 vendors on projects at previous residences and appreciated Sean’s knowledge and candor around what would be right for this house. Sean was open to working on the project in a modular fashion and spent time presenting me with options on shades, lighting and entertainment.

From the beginning, the team approached the project in a thoughtful manner prioritizing tasks appropriately in order to provide network access on my first day in the newly constructed residence. From there they coordinated with my internet and cable provider to get everything set up and the TVs hung. To date they have managed the process including the challenges from a constrained supply chain in an open and efficient manner keeping me apprised of any unanticipated delays.

I would be remiss without a shout out to Sebastian who has consistently approached and managed each task in a can do manner. His attention to detail and product and installation knowledge are second to no one. I work for a company who used Tech Automation to do our shared areas. Nothing has worked since the day I have started and I’ve been here a while. We constantly get complaints from members who try to use the things they installed. Management have tried to contact them several times about multiple issues but nothing ever gets resolved. Come to find out they aren’t even in our state or neghibor state so any help wouldn’t really be avalible. If anything worked as intended we wouldnt have even figured this out but only thing we found with their info was a little tag on the brain of our system. After leaving several messages we still have no contact and are dealing with angry residents daily. 100% would not recommend. They install shorty work to make a buck and...
