Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Troy

This morning I was in the driving through to get my coffee and my phone rang as I was about to go on the intercom and I missed it. Drove up to the window and I was talking to the young lady and I started telling her I’m sorry I missed the intercom and I didn’t get the chance to order my coffee. The young lady misunderstood me so i started telling her again when an old lady from the back come and says I have to go in line again. Ok fine but a coffee takes not that long, I come here everyday and I missed it on accident and I tried to relay that. If I have to go around at least let me know nicely, I’m just starting my morning if you’re having a bad day please kindly do not take it out on me. When I asked ok please let me talk to a manager she started ignoring me and she was close enough to where I can see her then she closed the window on me. I couldn’t believe it.. I took my phone out to record it because I couldn’t believe that a grown woman was acting like this and I’m just trying to get a coffee, I didn’t understand. When I did that this young man came to the window and it just sounded like no one wanted to hear it. No big deal I left, but I do go there many days of the week. I know the lady is Albanian I can hear her speaking in her tongue, she refused to give me her name and that’s all I have to go by. I would like an email back from a manager. The reason I’m writing this review is because I was refused a manager to convey how I was treated on their place of business. I’m offended and I felt it was unfair and really rude and early in the morning just because she was having a bad day. If my money is not good there that’s ok too, but please kindly have your staff from inflicting those...

Went for a bagel combo with an L iced coffee. Little old lady at the window gave me a L hot coffee. No biggie, hey it’s wrong. She tells me no it’s not and insists I take it. I told her no and repeated my order to her to clarify. She turns around and literally dumps the hot coffee into a cup of ice and then hands that to me. At this point I told her I want a refund because that not what I ordered. She takes it again and goes behind a corner and comes back with a somewhat lighter drink and puts it in my hand. I take the drink thinking it’s remade at first glance, drop it in my cup holder, tell her to have a good day because regardless I always liked that lady and leave. Im halfway down the street & go to take a drink and it’s still the same hot coffee but all the ice is melted and she just put extra cream in it!! I go back because this is ridiculous, and I asked the manager for a refund, showed her the coffee which although she was clearly frustrated to deal with any issue this morning, upon seeing she agreed was absolutely wrong. She put the money for the coffee in my hand, ignoring me telling her that I tried several times to get her employee to correct the drink. She said have a better day. I asked if she would remake the drink, and her answer was “not unless I was going to pay for it”. Exceptional! Thankfully as I was leaving the coffee slipped from my hand, so I didn’t have to the drink the warm coffee water they gave me. However the Biggby Coffee that just opened down the street on Big Beaver was more than happy to help me out. By the way, their mouths actually dropped to the floor when I told them about Tim’s. I’ll be happily taking my business there...

This TH's has been so disappointing. It's right by my office so it would be a great place to stop, however, after the terrible experiences I have had over the last few weeks I will not be back.

I often go through the drive thru and order a medium black coffee- not that difficult. I usually get the wrong size or it comes with loads of cream/sugar (when I asked for black) and then the service is always terribly rude.

Most recently, I went there at lunch for Turkey sandwich with no tomato. They handed me sandwich with tomato, I told the lady at the counter that I asked for no tomato and she took my sandwich from me, went around the corner, removed the tomatoes and handed it back to me. I looked at the sandwich and it still had tomato juice all over so clearly it was just taken off. I asked the girl and she blankly stared and me and said "what do you want me to do?" After I explained that this was unacceptable she gave me a new sandwich, didn't apologize, and acted very rude that I even expected a new one.
