Really fantastic little place to come and rent. Rates are higher than my flatlander-airports, but that's to be expected in this gorgeous terrain and it doesn't feel like they're gouging. They only have one Cessna 172 to rent, so if there is anything unexpected be ready to be flexible. My time here was awesome. Checked out with Dan Olsen and then flew a family member around the Truckee area. I can think of few better places to come out, rent a plane, and have some fun.

I had a stuck mic situation as a transient at TRK. I'm based in Georgia and had my T210 on a trip. Sierra Aero provided immediate assistance and Sean quickly located the problem, which was loose split jacks. Sean got me on my way and everything has worked great. Everyone I met at Sierra Aero was kind and sensitive to my situation....
