Purchased a MacBook from BX and the associate was very friendly and helpful in the process yesterday. The laptop is for school work and I had gotten advice for the smaller 256 laptop versus the larger storage 512 and I needed to upgrade based off the needs (buyer mistake on not being smart with electronics ) essentially today I went in to exchange with the thought to pay the difference for the laptop that I needed and unfortunately it was a very bad experience. The sales associate at the return desk and I stood there for 20 minutes waiting on the power zone. After the 20 min I asked if I should go back to the power zone and wait at that point the return desk lady said yes. I waited another 30 min at power zone while a purchase was being made by someone else. So after 50 minutes total then I was told that I can’t exchange and pay the difference for the one I wanted out of pocket. I needed to do a 100%. Return wait 5 to 7 business days and then I would be able to get that laptop essentially or I could do the 1,299.00 get repaid later and the 1,499.00 for the one I wanted meaning the combined total out of my bank account till the 1,298.00 was repaid. For me, it makes no sense because you should be able to pay the difference of the more expensive one if you want so I just left and then attempted to call AppleCare which they gave me the number (will include the photo ) The number they gave me doesn’t work for it and to be honest this experience is so dumb I called the BX to get a manager on the phone and asked the manager for the right number. Expressing my frustration to the manager and she said you should have been able to make the exchange and pay the difference . She called back to the associate and the associate said they didn’t have what I wanted in stock funny it was on the shelf and no sticker that said it was unavailable so idk seems like a lie now to keep out of hot water for the employee.
What I am gonna do is figure out:
This is actually for the Davis Monthan Inn...If you want a barracks style room where you CANNOT control the thermostat then this is the place for you! With bunker-type poorly painted cinder block walls, shabby carpet, a lumpy sagging mattress and terribly old furniture, this is NOT a place we would EVER again stay no matter what the price We were there in late November and the room was SO hot we couldn't sleep. There was a governor on the thermostat, so we had no control over the room temp. It was set at 80 degrees. That is not only uncomfortable, but unhealthy. We couldn't open the windows because we were near a busy street and right on a major sidewalk. This may be a fair price at $60+, but the contract-government run facility is outrageous with their non caring employees...and ESPECIALLY their lack of respect and their blatant disregard for the comfort of military families. Shame on them. I would give this review zero...
Read moreThis review is solely for the firearms section of the BX. If you are considering purchasing a weapon here I suggest you first check elsewhere. You will likely find it cheaper, or the same price (after taxes) without having to deal with the longer wait for a background check, and special rules like not being able to purchase ammo in the same caliber as your purchased firearm for the entire day. What really bothered me though was that when I got my gun home I realized they had slipped the display model into the box and not a new gun. This may sound trivial, but I didn’t come here intending on purchasing a semi new weapon that had dirt and hand grease from who knows how many people handling it worked all into the engraving, serration, and groove of the slide and frame. In addition to this the inside of the trigger guard was badly scratched up from the trigger locks they...
