UPDATED REVIEW
I have been a dedicated client for a few months. Every 2 weeks for gel pedi and dip mani. Cost me $100 each time, never in my life have I seen a business take priority to other clients just for more money. I went in at 10 am and I am the first client. A girl comes after me, she’s planning to spend a lot, acrylic nails and pedi. We both are being worked on, the daughter is sweet. The mother who I believe manages or owns took the girl next to me. She gets a call that a family of 4 want to get in for pedicures. She said they could get them all at the same time. There are only 3 workers, the family arrives at 1120, the mother had just started working on the girls pedi. The daughter finished my pedi and started my mani. The family of 4 are in a rush and they said they are going to leave. I could see they were agitated that there were only 3 workers. They needed to be in Phoenix by 3. Never in my life have I seen ANY business take someone who came first then put them last. I had acetone on my fingers for over 45 minutes in tin foil. My skin broke out terribly. I understand this family was in a rush but I had things to do, and I’m sure the poor girl next to me did too. To be there first and then put last is beyond terrible business. Not only did this business lose 2 dedicated clients, they lost having the chance of gaining a family of 4 because they lied about the amount of workers working. Terrible business practices. I ended up walking out because I was leaving to Europe the next day and I did not have the time to wait for the girl to do a man’s pedicure and a daughter manicure. Horrible, they lost $3000 a year from me, and I was a big tipper too. Shame. I took my business to Nail Zone.
1 star for the business overall, 2 stars for the daughter that is sweet that...
Read moreWhy is 0 stars never allowed well i give a negative 1. going to get donuts Sunday morning in the shopping center I saw Serene Nail spa with a huge sign that said under new management and 50% off services so I decided to give it a try. I needed a full set and a pedicure. Well on my pedicure I was cut in 3 different places while she tried to take off the old gel polish ouch but was like ok it happens moved on an hour later to my nails and while doing my nails she slipped with the drill not even me moving and completely sliced the back of my pinky and then had a hard time even finding a band aide as it was bleeding pretty good as it was a deep cut believe it or not then she moved on to my other nails and 3 others were cut up as well in the cuticle and side of my nail I was like ok beauty is pain I guess. Then I go to pay and she charger 75$ for my nails and 55 for my toes nothing was 50% off as advertised at all instead it came out to 130$ on top of all the pain in my little pinky I still gave a 10$ which would make it 140 but for some reason my card was actually charged 148.56 for the services received and all the cuts I got. My doctor did prescribed an antibiotic ointment a little stronger than neosporin as who knows what could of been on the drill but it did get red and pussed up pretty quick. I don't usually give reviews but after I saw the final charge on my account I was like wow very shady to do all of that under false advertising of 50% off and then steal from my account even if it was 8$ it is theft I didn't authorize that i figured i should let others know to proceed...
Read moreAbsolute worst manicure and pedicure I have ever had. My friend took me here for my birthday, she has been a few times herself, and before this time never had an issue. The place was clean and quiet. When I sat down for my pedicure I asked for the water to be warmer while I soaked my feet, it was ice cold and never got turned up. I barely got to soak and enjoy the massage chair for a few minutes before she got started. I'm not sure if she was rushed or what but she barely got the bottom of my feet and when she applied the polish, she did less coats than other places I have been too. A pedicure can last me usually a month. It has been 4 days and the Polish already has started to chip. Another lady who came in asked for the same pedicure got a hot towel around her feet and other things included that we did not. My friend and I both asked for the shellac manicure, I barely soaked my fingers. She got started, she left so much cuticle and space between the Polish and my skin that it looks like I got my nails done months ago. On some spots she left so much polish my nails look like I've done the 100 layers of polish challenge. 4 days later and one of the nails polish has already peeled off. My friends polish came off the next day, she went in had those fingers redone, then the next day more came off. I've seen other reviews of this being a complaint with this salon, not sure where you guys get your polish but you guys might want to get it checked. This many people shouldn't have their polish come off that quickly. If I could give a zero star...
