I'm speaking about the cox Cash Saver on south Peoria but both are great. Don't expect them to have the fancy things like the Reasors on 41st & Peoria. This is a neighborhood budget store. Like any store watch your various prices since stores pay different amounts sometimes. But here they charge only what they paid for it plus ten percent on top of that. That can lead to some great prices.
Plus while they don't have a huge selection of various meats they do get differing kinds at great prices. Sometimes really great prices & it tends to happen quite regularly for certain kinds. On top of that every month they have multiple items they got at a discount on sale for quite cheap. They've even had to put limits on things at times. They also have a good amount of fresh fruit & veggies.
But the biggest thing I like about this store is that they understand their neighborhood. They understand a lot of nearby people don't have cars to get the groceries home in. So they let people borrow the carts to walk it home. Then instead of just returning it you leave it in easy to spot places. Like next to the apartment dumpster, on grass etc & every morning somebody drives a van or truck around to pick them up & return them....
Read moreDefinitely don't buy any produce there, especially in the refrigerated section. Unless you want to get sick that is. Every time (Only 2 times!) that I have gotten any form of salad/ Spring mix there, it is spoiled. If I don't inspect the bottom of the package due to needing to ge the rest of my shopping done then Im in gor a nasty surprise!
The top of the package looks perfectly fine. Quote decieveing. But if it is a plastic hard case or a bag and it's been sitting at a flat angle. Then you're going to see a lot of rot at the bottom! That you wouldn't usually see at the top. Due to the water/condenstation settling at the bottom. There are refrigerators for the produce section barely work. Which accelerates this issur!
The refrigerators almost seem like they're going out! I've also had several vegetables that I've picked up rot within a day! I've become greatly concerned about buying any form produce there. All I get is excuses when I have called them and told them about the situation. This is the second and final time Ill ever buy produce there. The supposed produce manager really needs to get his rear and gear and fix the situation. Before somebody becomes seriously sick or worse a lawsuit ends up on...
Read moreAlthough this store is right around the corner from my house “Literally” This store, Cox Cash Savers is not listed on Door Dash. Door Dash has to go to Cash Saver in Sand Springs to shop for me when I can’t walk or drive to the store around the corner and have to wait 45 minutes to an hour to get my groceries. There are a lot of elderly, disabled people on and around the 61st Peoria whom Door Dash would greatly benefit and allow them to feel more independent and in control of their own shopping.. I’m 55 live alone and often have to call someone to go to the store for me. Please have Cox Cash Saver on S. Peoria added to Door Dash and make it available...
