El Super Taco — Restaurant in Tulsa

They messed up my order and didn’t give me the refried beans that I ordered. I called, and she asked how much I paid and what all I had in the order so she could add it up to make sure I was telling the truth? Really? Then, she said I could come today or tomorrow and get the replacement beans. I explained I live across town and that I couldn’t come back today and not sure about tomorrow, why would I drive across town just for beans. I told her she needs to refund me or compensate me with a coupon another meal or anything for my time and gas. She told me ALL they COULD do is give me the replacement beans, today or tomorrow. I asked for the manager and she said she was it. I asked her name, and she told me to hold on, when I asked why, she said she was taking orders from other customers. So, she couldn’t tell me her name, but she could tell me that she was taking orders from other customers. She finally said maria. I can’t support this, so I took my order back for a refund. There was NEVER an apology. Not over the phone or when I returned it. She didn’t say anything when she gave my refund, just gave me my money and closed the window. I try not to take it to race, but I wonder if I were any race other than black, would I have been treated this way. This place is trash. I support minority businesses, not just Black. However, it looks like this establishment doesn’t value ALL customers. I was a loyal customer, I tipped, and have even turned other people on to this place....

Really disappointed, given the reviews. The only redeeming quality was the queso. We were there Saturday afternoon. Got our food thru the drive thru n went to the park ~ so, there was no returning the order. Hubby ordered a chicken chimichanga plate with rice n beans, I ordered shredded beef tacos with rice and beans. He got his order. I received chicken tacos. Their chicken had an Italian flavor. Like.... cacciatore, maybe? Too much oregano, not enough chile. Nothing Mexican about it. Hubby agreed. So not only did I not receive my order, what I did get was gross. Greasy. Oh, and, barely there. The rice was ridiculously salty. To make up for lack of seasoning? The beans were OK. Probably canned. The chips were tough. But that queso. The queso was good. Hubby ate his but we were very hungry. Don't recommend....

El Super Taco is the real deal! Hands down the best street tacos in Tulsa — the carne asada and al pastor are 🔥 and the green salsa is next level. Whether it’s late night or lunch time, the flavor is always on point and the service is quick and friendly.

Funny enough, I ended up here after my truck had some issues and Miklos Towing got me off the road and dropped me nearby. Turned a bad day into a great one thanks to some tacos and a solid towing team.
