I am beyond frustrated with my experience at Hahn’s Appliances. I spent $2,000 on an oven+installation, and the entire process has been a nightmare from start to finish.
First, my salesperson, Donovan, was very friendly when we made the purchase. He assured us that the oven was in stock day we purchased and set an install date for a week and a half after date of purchase for March 10. When that day came, no one showed up. I called the store, only to find out that there was no record of my sale in their system at all! I had just spent $2,000 with them, and they had no idea who I was or what I bought.
Donovan got on the phone with my husband same day and tried to blame the delay on snow (which didn’t make sense because the snow was gone a whole week before we made this purchase), claiming the oven was out of stock (even though he had told us it was available when we purchased it), and claiming he never set a install date with us originally so he’s not sure why we thought that. Even though I have paperwork that reflects an install date of March 10.
We agreed to reschedule for March 20, which meant I had to cancel plans with family on March 10, as I was depending on the oven to cook for them that evening!!!
When I called again on March 19 to confirm the install for the next day, I was told AGAIN I wasn't even scheduled for it! The person I spoke to transferred me to Donovan, who initially said I was scheduled but then realized I wasn’t. He left me on hold for over 15 minutes, and when someone else answered, they didn’t even know who I was waiting for. It felt like Donovan was deliberately avoiding helping me!!!
Finally, I spoke with a manager named Britt, who apologized but didn’t seem shocked at all by the poor treatment I had received. At this point, I expected something like a free or discounted install as compensation for all the trouble, but no such offer was made. In fact i was questioned if i was telling the truth. I even had to provide proof of my original install date/sale paper work…which Donovan had completely messed up, and when I did, the manager seemed shocked that I was telling the truth!
I am extremely disappointed in Hahn’s Appliances and Donovan’s lack of professionalism. I feel like I was the one doing all the work to fix their mistakes, and no real effort was made to make...
Read moreIt was finally time to invest in another refrigerator. I didnt have rhe money for something extravagant, so i knew my budget would limit me on the one i chose. I have purchased from the Hahn appliance store many years ago and was so pleased with my whirpool double convection oven, from the scratch and dent section, I knew this is the first place I wanted to come to look for my next appliance purchase.
As my best friend and I strolled up and down each aisle of the refrigerator sections to read about the ratings, cubic capacity, and check almost every make, model and style offered of the French door top refrigerator with ice maker with the ice maker on the bottom, a very courteous young man named Ben came by and answered questions about a couple of the units we were looking at. Ben seemed extremely interested in his own work and happy to share his knowledge to his customers. I told him we were looking, but that we would let him know if we needed anything else.
After what seemed to be a lengthy "twice over look" and some triple looks at the refrigerators we were really interested in, Ben helped us come to our decision, as he pointed out items that one had that another did not have. At that point, I didn't need to shop anywhere else, We bought the refrigerator, Ben did an amazing job in his customer sales. He has a natural gift. I hope Hahn Appliance keeps more respectful employees like Ben around. Someone like Ben is hard to find. I owned a Commercial HVAC company for 6 years. Ben would have been hired if I still had that company. He has potential to do more, I hope Hahn has college tuition for their employees, to allow them to go to further their education. If Ben could get into Marketing and Business, you would have a fine store manager of another store.
I will be back to buy a washer and dryer in about 6-months. Thank you for having reasonable prices for us middle...
Read moreWent in today, had to find my own Salesman... He was helpful... Prices are high... Not willing to come down but 50/60 dollars (per management). Previous trip they made excellent service and gave great prices... This trip was lack luster... 700 dollars for a dryer that is damaged and or has been in someone's house... Spoke to management they dont care.... I won't be back .. (asked to speak with the salesman I have dealt with before to find he passed.... If anything they need to look back and take a lesson from Jacob in customer care)
Went to the Hahn's outlet on a Saturday morning, walked in was greeted with a welcome and a smile. A salesman named Jacob approached me asking if he could help. Jacob was very informative and listened to what I wanted, showed me numerous washers that fit my criteria. We talked he answered all the questions about warranties and how the washers worked and he sold me one. The process was easy, I bought a washer with a little bit of factory damage for an amazing price. The hardest part of the whole process was making up my mind. Hahns loaded and strapped the washer in the truck and sent me on my way. It was a great experience, friendly and informative employees no pressure to buy, but I promise it will be your first and last stop you will leave happy. The store was clean, well organized, and had a great selection. If I had to find a fault with the store it would be the restrooms are not handicap accessible, it would be hard for someone in a wheelchair to use, but they are clean. My washer works great and I am so happy to have my laundry done. Overall my experience was GREAT I would recommend Hahn's to anyone for a new appliance. In fact I'm and already budgeting for my next purchase and I will definitely be going to...
